Tower Flue Components CGDK4SS Stainless Steel Circular Boiler Terminal Guard, 11" Dia x 6" D

I purchased this item to replace a rusting plated type, the only difference is the stainless steel replacement has a three hole fixing whereas the old item had a four hole fixing so it needs a little relocation of the wall mounted plugs. The new item has fairly large diameter fixing holes needing washers under the screws, I used self tapper stainless steel No 10 screws, 38mm long and repair washers (stainless steel 25mm x 5.4mm). It is essential to use stainless steels fixing screws and washers as it is pointless the fit a stainless steel flue guard only to mark the wall onto which it is mounted by rusting screws/washers. I purchased my screws and washers through Amazon so they are easy to resource. The product is well made and should have a long life and is recommended for purchase.

Just the right size, fits perfectly over the vent very pleased.

Good quality product. Purchased as a like for like but only two of the fixing loops were in the same position as the one it replaced. However two fixing points were enough to hold it.

A compact stainless steel flue guard that neatly covers our boiler exhaust flue whilst not being too bulky. It is securely held in place by three screws.
