I installed it with lots of pressure. Was gone for a couple of days and when I came home it had unstuck from every end. Have had to add more pressure to restick it several times. Seems to be stuck on now but it took awhile. Like the clear color and does a good job protecting my counter corners. Looks nice.

Pretty easy to install. It's not perfectly symmetric looking from the end (one side remains thick most of the way and the other side tapers), and it has a blueish color to it if the sun hits it right.My biggest gripe is that the included adhesive is trash. It seems to stick OK, but the edges of the adhesive roll are damaged (I bought 2 kits, they were both the same, it's how it's made, it wasn't damaged in shipping) such that when you try to peel off the backing to reveal the adhesive, it CONSTANTLY tears small pieces of paper off which are tough to remove. Of course, since the whole thing is clear, these small pieces of paper make the installation look horrible overall. I wasn't about to go and find better double sided tape to do the install properly, though. It's rather narrow.

This would be a better product if the adhesive tape was of good quality. I had to use glue to get the edge protectors to work properly. I ordered this product twice hoping I would see better results however, I was still disappointed. I will not purchase this product again in the future.

The double-sided tape is separate from the guard itself, and the paper that shields the tape is abysmal. I could not get a single strip of the backing to pull off cleanly, and instead it would start to feather and rip, leaving small pieces of white paper everywhere that I had to go pick out with a hawk eye and surgical instruments. Trying to pick an edge back up was nearly impossible as the tape wanted to stick to my finger more than anything else in this universe, and handling it at all made the tape that was supposed to remain on the surface turn cloudy instead of clear, which you can see under the clear guard.Note that it arrives coiled up, so if you intend to use the full length, you're going to need to stretch it out and let it sit, or possibly warm it (they recommend in hot water?) (I recommend the dryer on low with a towel thrown in) and shape it to the furniture. Please note it's also very easy to stretch this out when installing, so be ready to trim at any moment.Pre-applied tape or better paper that actually comes off cleanly would make this a much better product. Luckily, you only have to install it once, but this was the worst installation experience I've had with any guard thus far.

I used this to put a protective lining on my kitchen island, for the revolving bar chairs. I expected it to be a little more thicker, but it was just enough to save the wooden edge from the chair from being dented on impacts. I followed all the steps they mentioned before installing them (like cleaning and drying the surface, placing the strip in the water for a few minutes etc). I applied two adhesive strips instead of the recommended one, just to be sure.The problem was that, just after two months of normal use, one side of it has started to come off from the glue strip. the glue strip has already lost its stickiness inside, so I've to now try to place another piece of strip there to stick it back to the surface.I expected it to last for longer than 2 months.I'd recommend trying another product if you're looking for durability.

Other reviews stated there are no instruction s and that is a truth. Some reviews complained that it hard apply the double sided tape to the edging which is also true but NOT the way to go about installing.1. Cut the edging to the desired length.2. Apply the double sided tape along the length of the cabinet/tables horizontal edge and then it's adjacent vertical edge.3. Starting at one end center the edging over the edge and press the vertical and horizontal sides of the edging in place securing it to both runs of double sided tapeI'm using the edging on the lower edge of the cabinet s above my work bench to help protect my head. Will upgrade to five if it holds well during next summer when temps get up into the 90s and my garage heats up.

Used it for mirror wall edge. Not quite ideal. Having to put the adhesive your self wasn’t fun. Plus if put in the middle the corners don’t really latch. It also started to peel even after soaking in water per instructions. I will try something else lest time.

If you want this to work you really have to put in more effort. First you will have to measure out and cut the length needed. Second, you have to spend some time straightening out the plastic pieces you cut by leaving them in hot water then prop them straight while they cool. If the pieces don't lay straight and flat on their own, they will lift off the adhesive.

This product smells intensely toxic!I’m not the type to be sensitive to odours or get headaches but WOW this product hit me in the nose so hard as soon as I opened the zip seal.Instantly developed a migraine that lasted for nearly 2 days. Not comfortable having this around the house and my son.Returning.

Easy to install and good for sharp edges like our glass dining table. But this product never tested with its actual user group 1 to 5 years old toddler!It was pulled ripped and destroyed in 10 minutes! As soon as my baby noticed it, it was gone! She thought of it as a game and ripped it in seconds, the adhesive was good for sticking to the table but not to the ribbon! And after it was ripped it was game over...Not recommend it... 😕

For my third child's safety... been through this before and used lots of stuff. As with the similarly branded corner tabs, this strip is hard. Not forgiving. The silicone should be much softer if its meant to be protective. It's better than a sharp edge of a table, if it's sharp metal or glass, but if there's any bevel o the table it's not much better. The corner point could also be rounded, and less pointy by far. I got these for the looks but should have got the ugly foam for better softness and protection. Bad dad.

Does the job, but could adhere a lot better.Amendment - 1 month later - the actual rubber strip is fine, the adhesive they provide is complete garbage! All the strips are now falling off, dangling, etc. They really need to provide something better quality so these strips adhere, otherwise it's useless. I originally gave a 4 star, but need to reduce it to a 2 star now. Sticky tape is not that hard...

Tape was not 49 feet, it was short 10 feet to finish, I only had 30 feet of tape, not 49 feet. I bought this last year and the tape that came with it was more than enough to finish with extra left over, this time I did not have enough tape, Now I cannot finish. Terrible. contacted seller for replacement tape and or refund. I was going to buy more to finish baby proofing but now I am afraid that the tape will be short again. I will update after seller responds with resolve.
