Works exactly as described, with absolutely no odors! I bought this with the understanding that this composter takes kitchen scraps and dehydrates them, while grinding them to relatively small pieces (1/8" or less). You can then take the output and either dig it directly into your garden beds or add to a non-electric composter along with some "compost activator" for further fermentation/processing into compost. This composter appears to be well-made - it's sturdy and its pieces fit together nicely. The lid opens and closes easily, the bin lifts out and returns easily, and the bin has some form of non-stick coating on it. Finally, the controls are easy to understand and even tells you how much longer until the current run is completed. It has two processing options: 6 hours for normal use, and 4 hours for smaller loads. It also has a self-clean cycle, where you put water into the bin and it will slosh it around for about 15 minutes to clean the bin. I haven't used that cycle yet -- so far everything has easily wiped out of the bin with a rag, but if necessary, you can put the bin in your dishwasher! This model has a relatively small bin into which you place your scraps (3 liters), but since I live alone, that's more than I will ever need! If you have a small family, it will probably suffice as long as you run it fairly regularly. The normal time for it to process your scraps is about 6 hours, so I would just suggest that you keep adding scraps until it's either full or it's the end of the day -- then run it after dinner or overnight! P.S. - If you have a large family, this may not be the product for you, unless you want to run it after every meal! 🤣 The noise level while running was barely noticeable, and the activated charcoal filtration works flawlessly! Even when processing a full load of onion peelings, I couldn't detect a single smell (once the lid was closed)! I'm not sure how long the charcoal will last before needing to be replaced... The manual says approximately 6 months, but it really depends on how often you run the machine! I like it enough to know that I'll be using it regularly!!! I've only had it for about a week, but I'll update this review at a later date when I have more experience with it (good or bad!).

Very easy to use and quiet. The compost comes out dry and easy to add to my soil or compost barrel. I haven't noticed any odor and clean up is easy. The bucket is dishwasher safe. I only wish I could have gotten it in black.

This little composter started out working well. I have had it for 6 months now and have used it about twice weekly. Although the bucket is on the small side, it has been large enough for my needs as a single, retired person. It was actually doing a great job. I kept the machine clean and frequently washed the bucket to keep it functioning properly. About a week ago I set it for the 6 hour cycle and came into the kitchen, noticing it had stopped and was shut off. I checked the contents and although it was on the moist side, I also had added coffee grounds, so I considered it about as done as could be expected. When I turned it on, "E03" was the message it displayed and it shut itself off again. According to the manual, it was a fan error and I should wait and try it again. So, that's what I did but the same thing happened. The manual gave a customer service email to use, so I sent a detailed message. No one has responded; not even a 'canned' message acknowledging they received my email. Now, I went to Amazon and clicked on the option to 'Get Customer Support' and the ONLY options had to do with a remote control or wi-fi issue. My machine might have come with a remote, but it's the machine that is not working, not the remote that I never even used. There is no option to contact the seller. My assessment is the customer service is terrible. Unless you don't mind having to buy a new composter within less than half a year, my advice is to skip over this one. I will be looking at other brands.

It is fantastic in many ways. Easy to use and to keep clean Got rid of the pesky fruit flies that have been milling around my old compost bucket. It does not cope with corn husks even cut up and they broke it. Hoping that I can get a new bucket

I love this composter and plan to pay a video with my review soon. It's compact so it doesn't take up much room on my countertop, and it's silent and does a great job of breaking down food scraps and egg shells. I don't add any greasy or cooked foods (leftovers). The activated charcoal ensures the composter had zero odor. There's plenty of capacity and I've yet to fill it up to the max. Let it cool down completely then mix with soil and top off your plants. My plants and flowers have grown and bloomed even more beautifully with this natural fertilizer. I love this composter!

I have only had this less than a yr. It began giving error messages and even with intense cleaning I still get error messages and it will not work. I had another brand for 7 years bit stopped working.

The lifetime warranty alone makes it worth the purchase...got rid of my composting bucket that the sanitation department picks up once a week..they end up being a slimy wormy mess and summer makes it worse. Just top off leftovers or uneaten food, hit the short cycle at night..4 hours later I have a small pile of compost .its alot more quiet than expected and easy to clean after each use..I put small bones like fish but not big chicken bones or hard bones .very happy with this
