Q: Is it compatible with Rt 85 tt?

I believe the RT-85 comes with an Ortofon cartridge that is a little taller than the AT cartridges. I did a similar swap on my U-turn Orbit (2M Red to AT-VM95ML and added a slightly thicker mat to compensate. As long as the tonearm is parallel to the turntable when a record is playing, you should be okay.
