Game Changer for HDMI Access!
Most TVs only have a couple HDMI ports, so this HDMI switch was a lifesaver! It lets you connect up to 5 devices at once - no more unplugging and re-plugging just to switch between your console, streaming stick, or DVD player. The remote control is super handy, so you can change inputs without even getting up. Best part? It doesn’t affect picture quality at all - everything still looks crystal clear in HD. Easy to set up, compact, and super convenient. Highly recommend if you need more HDMI options!

Definite a must for game room. Allows you to plug in a ton more
First thing i will say is to be aware this DOES NOT work for plugging in one HDMI device to five HDMI monitors. This allows you to plug in five devices into one HDMI television. That being said this HDMI switch is relatively a good device to have IF you have more than three devices. Honestly if you are only plugging two or three you can get a different one. For me I really like to have the extra ports as I have a few gaming stations that I want to plug in and this works great for my new 4k televisions. Please note that this will work with any TV that has an HDMI port on it. The one thing I really like about it is that it has a small remote to make it easier to switch between HDMI ports. The remote is very basic however I am not a fan of the white. It gets noticeable dirty over time and I have only had it for a few days. It also has to be in line of sight in order to work with the HDMI switch. The remote runs on CR2025 battery which most of these small remote controls tend to run on. It has the five additional HDMI ports and they are numbered so you can know which one you are plugging into. Note that one of the HDMI ports is actually on the side. Be careful not to mix up the output and input as they are on either end. It will last for quite some time considering you only use it to change the HDMI channel and that is just one button pressing at a time. You can either scroll through the channels or select the channel you want. There is a button on the device itself if you are close by so you can just adjust the HDMI port number on the device if needed. It requires a power plugs (USB Power will work) to power it which I do recommend using. If you try to run it without it, it will either not work or shut off randomly as it tends to be a bit low on power. It does not come with a power brick so you will need to buy that if you do not have a usb port on your TV to plug it in. I recommend using the television usb if possible as it really does limit the amount of outlets you take up. The picture quality does not seem to be changed at all or least I did not notice any changes. It provides my 4K tv the same quality if it was plugged into the TV directly. I am able to plug additional game consoles to my television which is awesome. I have multiple gaming consoles I wanted to plug into my TV without needing to switch it out all the time. It also does not come with an HDMI cable so you will need an additional HDMI cable from your TV to the switch. It can provide you up to five additional ports. The one down side of having ports on either end is that it is a bit harder to keep the cable management clean. I would recommend if possible to just tape the switch down to the surface to keep it from moving. Overall this product works really well for me and works very well for 4K TVs. I am able to plug in more device into the TV (ps3, xbox one, xbox 360, ps4, and switch) and also it blends in pretty well with my television and stand. I usually just put it right below my TV in line of sight as you will not be able to change it otherwise. The device does not get super hot or anything when in use. It is pretty well built and made of aluminum I will say. There are also small LED light indicators to show what HDMI port you are currently on.

Great but not for a gaming family.
I bought this because we are a gaming family and have 3 different systems we switch between. For switching between systems it's a dream come true, except for one thing... the auto switch. If you want to run one system at a time it's great and easy. But what happens is one of my kids is playing X-box then my 2nd child comes in and wants to play his Switch. when he turns on the switch it changes to that one and the child playing on the X-box is now freaking out because he's going to die or get kicked out and lose all his progress. And for the WiiU when my son tries to play a racing game with the Wii nunchucks it turned the TV off and he had to use the screen on the handheld which to be close enough to view you're too close to use the nunchucks. But when we game as a family with the WiiU (someone on the hand held, and 2 of us on the nunchucks) it stays on the screen. This is not enough to return the system and get a different one he just doesn't play those two games and we've disconnected the switch. But if I had to buy again I'd find one without the auto switch.

What you expect. Great product for the price. All Devices connected work great!
Had trouble with older HDMI switch. Replaced with this one. Works great. Did exactly as I hoped. The HDMI 2.0 solved my older model issue. The auto function works great, remote works well and the case is a robust construction.

Inexpensive and works great!
This HDMI switcher works as it’s intended. I have it hooked up to my original Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox one. I haven’t had one issue so far Although I have only used it for a few days. I will update my review if I need to in the next month or so.

Works GREAT... until it doesn't work AT ALL.
I purchased this item early in February and it worked GREAT!I had four inputs and one output and both the switch and remote functioned well.Then... near the end of March, Input1 stopped working, but the other inputs continued to work. On April 1, nearly two months after the purchase, another input started flickering. Now I cannot get signal from ANY input and the switch button will not work.Of course, it is past the return window.

Four outta Five is still good?
One(1) of the five(5) ports doesn’t work as it should. It’s the side one parallel to the export/outport one. It *will* play audio (just fine) and somewhat of a clear picture. The picture itself will consistently cut out to black (along with the sound) unless the TV is turned on and off again. Or it will be ‘snowy’ picture which is extremely noticeable on dark parts. And I feel like it’s messed up with three? As if they’re cross wired somehow because I used to have my PS3 hooked up into the third slot and when I’d switch over to Dish, which is what I had in the fifth, it’d turn the PS3 on. (I don’t use the three that often so it wasn’t me turning it on) Or maybe the cats were doing it and by pulling it out of the third slot was just a blip.Anyway the rest of is great and very convenient! I have a PS2 HD ‘upscaler’/plug thing that I have in the 2nd port and that works great. My fourth is in the four slot and I’m not great at technology so I’m not sure about if the PS4 drops frames or anything. :/ But the picture/sound is fine and it saves up room on the back of the TV.I do t know how long this is going to last. Hopefully a while but since the one port is being a bit funny already I really don’t know. I went with this one originally *since* it had 5 to choose from but I guess four is still good?PS I haven’t used the remote, it switches automatically, which is greatttt!
