Q: How long does it take to numb skin?

It doesn’t seem to work to me. I would recommend it. I never felt any numbing. Also, It’s very oily and didn’t work for waxing, which was my purpose in purchasing it. Good luck.

I've used for 10 years and would certainly numb skin somewhat but not enough to completely block pain from pulling off tags. better than nothing. there are products available with higher percentage of lidocaine.

Q: Had surgery and have 50 staples on my spine. Can I use it there for pain relief?

I've also had spine surgery, 2 actually, 3 if you count cervical. ok, this will help with pain. but....please check with your surgeon's office before you use this or anything else. don't want to make a mistake. good luck.
