These are great all around endmills for light duty machining. They cut very well in everything I've used them on so far, which is plastic, aluminum and wood. There's a good selection of sizes. They have a beautiful reflective silver surface and are very sharp

Most DIYers are not going to chuck these up in a big mill but, like me, will try to use in a drill press doing woodworking stuff. This is extremely dangerous and should not be attempted because you WILL injure your hand for an extended period of time. The only exception to this is if you have a good drill press with an X-Y table and securely hold the workpiece in place. A two-hundred-dollar X-Y table is cheaper than a large insurance bill. Otherwise, these mills are great.
