I was so excited that I'd finally found some sandals that seemed to have good high arch support. But when I tried them on, the support was too far back, and at the front of the heel not on the arch. I don't know if I had a dud pair? My feet are not an unusual shape so I just don't get why the sandals fit so badly. Sent them back for a refund.

They’re fine, it’s just the same complaint I’ve always had. 6 is too small, 7 is a little bit too long. Really wish there was a 6.5.

This is my 4th pair of Z1 Chacos. Each pair has lasted three years (and I wear them almost every day from May-October.) They are comfortable and well-made. I walk and hike frequently during the summer and these work for almost all trail conditions. I was happy to find this pair, as I like the webbing (strap) color and design more than the current standard options on the Chacos website. I was also very happy with the price, as I've paid full-price for my previous pairs.

Returned because the size 8 felt like a 6 1/2. I own many Chacos and never had this Issue. Weird.

I love these sandals. Im on my third pair. I have high arches and these give good support. I can wear these all day and do wear them most of the year when Im not at work. I feel they run large. I like them to fit almost snug. I wear a size 10 shoe but I buy these one size smaller. The arches line up better and the front to back seems better with my toes/heels. Its probably a personal fit thing more than the sandal. I recommend trying a pair somewhere before buying so you can size them. The deals online can be great compared to the retail stores. I saved at least $20 by changing the color on Amazon.
