It says "wireless" a lot, and the whole "connect to router" is buried! Will The old bulbs still work?** A: If you buy the new Hue bridge and want to transfer your lights from the old bridge, I recommend that you first update the firmware on the old bridge and make sure you are running the latest Philips Hue app. I was successful transferring my Philips 610 lumen (color) Hue and 750 lumen (white) Lux bulbs. Once the updates are complete, turn on all your Hue bulbs and hook up the new bridge next to the old bridge. Don't disconnect the old bridge yet. Go to the Hue app and select "Settings>My Bridge>Bridge to Bridge Transfer". Your lights will be transferred automatically when the on-screen instructions are carefully followed. The exact wording in the app may be slightly different, just look for the "Bridge to Bridge Transfer". Once the transfer was completed, I updated the firmware on the new bridge to the latest version and disconnected the old bridge. I can now use Siri to control all the Hue bulbs.
