My Bonsai plant had started dying, I bought this soil to save the plant. The soil is very good quality and well drained. The bonsai plant is giving out new growth and I was able to save it. It does not smell bad, will definitely buy again.

I’m very happy with this brand of soil, and would definitely recommend to any plant person. I will definitely be buying again.I’m was so tired of buying soil IN STORES AND HAVING IT BEING INFESTED WITH PEST OR SIMPLY BEING OLD AND MOLDY AND JUST OLD SMELLING AND TIRED OF WASTING MY MONEY, so I was watching videos on Amazon and seen videos about this brand of soil and decided to try it and I’m so glad I did, because this WILL BE MY GO TO SOIL FROM NOW ON!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BRAND OF SOIL.

I recently purchased a serissa bonsai and needed some soil to repot it into the container that I got for it. The old soil which it came with was very dense and held a lot of moisture (which these trees typically need), but it can also lead to root rot. A bit in the pricey side (almost $30 for a small bag that just about filled up my rectangle pot) but I love how chunky this mix is!

It’s too soon to tell since I just repotted 2 . One seems to be doing well.

The desert mix seems like it will be great for drainage. The texture is good. My problem is the Qt isn’t as advertised in the picture. The bag next to the woman is much bigger and I thought by opting for the larger Qt that’s the size I’d receive. I’ll have to mix this in with my larger bag of supposed desert soil, from the nursery, that has sucky drainage… so hopefully it will work to boost the drainage of that soil. Otherwise I’d need 1-2 bags per pot.
