These are pretty nice bowls. They are lightweight but fairly sturdy, a decent size and the coating allows one to put liquids (such as milk for cereal) in them without having to worry about it soaking through or weakening the bowl. Though they are sturdy for their weight, they feel a little flimsy if you put something heavy in them -- in such a case you probably wouldn't want to carry it by it's rim. On the other hand if you nest two of them together the pair is much stronger and when you're done you can throw away the inner one and reuse the outer one. They are so thin I wouldn't want to put something like hot soup into them if I had to carry the bowl, but it should be fine if you set the bowl on a table and ladle the soup into it. At about fifty cents per bowl, they're perhaps, a bit pricey, but they are nice bowls,

These were purchased for a special event, and looked just great out on the table. Very fun and pretty. I've always liked things called Brush Strokes - they remind me of water color paintings! I also bought the matching small plates. A very pretty combination. Highly recommend.

We were having a week long celebration for my parents 50th anniversary. I ordered these so we would have something special. They are very beautiful and nice and thick. They are similar to Chinet napkins in thickness I would say. I bought two kinds so we could alternate every night with different colors and patterns. It was a good purchase.

Great for price per a count! I also bought the matching 10-inch plates. I used these for a kids art party. The matching cups are a bit expensive, so I bought cups from somewhere else that were similar in style.
