Has a bold flavor and a fair amount of caffeine. But not too much caffeine. Literally stays fresh tasting even after getting cold. Dark gold is the way to go.

As a coffee lover, this is bold without a burned bean (Starbucks 😖) taste. Love it.

After Starbucks bought out (hostile takeover) and then discontinued our favorite Italian roast we found Gevalia Bold Dark Gold Coast. It is excellent. We've tried all the brands since losing our Fazzianos (sp) Italian roast and found this one to be the closest and best out there. Price $ is very good too. When used in a KURIG, every cup comes out perfect.
