EVA Foam Cosplay - 1mm (1mm to 10mm) - Black or White - 14" x 39" Sheet - Ultra High Density 85kg/m3 - The Foamory

This is thinner than I thought but it worked and was perfect for my needs. I installed an aftermarket floating head unit in my Corolla and the head unit is about an inch away from the fascia. So when you look from the side, you could see the gap/opening behind the screen. I wanted something that was about 1mm thick, flexible and durable to cover the opening and I found these EVA foams. Never bought these before and I was pleased with the way it was easy to cut them to the shape I wanted and hot-glued it to the back of the fascia. It looks really good too. A little on the expensive side but worth it.

Great for cosplay but you have to know your way around foam size - more expensive doesn't mean better - be sure to mesure before you buy

Really dense while being thin. Holds shape wonderfully. I used this to make eye blanks for a fursuit, and my only complaint is my cat loves the texture and tries to eat my projects. Lots of raging and redoing due to my feline friend, but the foam itself is great quality and I highly recommend it.

I used a 3mm sheet of black foam, along with some hook and loop tape, to make a dew cap for a Cassegrain telescope. It worked well and is just what I needed.
