This birch tar soap is very good. Unlike what one of the reviewers said, birch tar is present on the list of ingredients - Oleum Rusci. I like that the list of ingredients is very short. The smell of this soap is exactly as expected: it smells like natural birch tar, without any perfume added. The effect on the skin is amazing: it takes care of any inflammation quickly. I highly recommend this soup for oily skin prone to acne.

This soap is no different then other laundry bar soap except for the fact that the smell is too strong. So strong that you have to rewash your clothes with a fragrant detergent soap. The tar oil sinks into the fibers of the clothes like a skunk and I’m not exaggerating.

Very strong smell...not for everyone, awesome lather, and cleans great. My skin feels great after using. Reminds me of old wooden boats.

Love this stuff. Smells like you are in a burning log cabin showering in a forest fire, but actually cleans exceptionally well, and leave the skin feeling great!

I wanted to love it!However, when reading the ingredient list noticed that the main ingredient is missing! Oh Lord. Can’t call it a birch tar soap without the birch tar!
