I settled for 2/3 and got this keyboard after trying out the Filco Majestouch Air with lackluster results. For those debating between switches, going with the cherry/red is a safe bet. The MX cherry switches are much quieter than the click versions (about the same as a regular keyboard) and the key resistance is comfortable for fast typing. If you have roommates or don't want to drive the people around you insane I highly suggest NOT getting the click keys. Many people complain that the keycaps are poor quality and the letters wear off in short order. I don't know what those people are doing with their keyboards, because I've had other Filco keyboards for more than two years with 6 hours or more of use each day and not a single letter has worn off. I'm *not* using the keyboards for gaming, which might be the difference. The heaviness of the materials and the weight of the keys, this keyboard will last forever. Owning a Filco is one of those things where you don't really understand what you're missing until you try it. I found it hard to justify paying as much as I did for a peripheral, but now that I own one, I would buy it again in a heartbeat if anything ever happened to the one I have.The Filco wrist rest is a must!
