Yes, but you should really get proper training from a Pelvic Floor PT who recommends it to you.

Getting this for my wife one for her issues. Excuse the ignorance but how is this supposed to be used? Insert... Then what?

If it helps her pelvic floor muscle problems, she'll be glad you got it for her. It doesn't matter that it's a "tool" [for pelvic floor pain relief]. A dildo is a tool, too. If your wife likes it, great! There's more than one way to use a tool. A butter knife is also a screwdriver. The answers I see coming from women is "You're a guy, so FO, we have no respect for you." I say, buy the thing. If your wife doesn't need it, re-gift it to a thrift shop. Someone will buy it to use for fishing. It looks like it could land a large Pike or a Bass.
