Updated Baggallini Only Bagg Info
The Only Bagg is a great travel bag. You can tell it was designed by stewardesses. However, as of c. April this year, Baggallini modified the interior pockets of the Only Bagg. They essentially down-graded it. They eliminated 2 of the 4 zipper pockets in the outer pouches, and the two remaining pockets are small. They also took out the two mesh pockets from the outer pouches. They also eliminated one of the two large zipper pockets in the interior section, and took off the plastic window on the coin purse (which was useful for carrying your passport and drivers license as you went through security). The Amazon photos of the interior configuration have not been updated to reflect these changes. When mine came, I thought it was possibly a counterfeit, but I checked with Baggallini and they confirmed that the newer bags have those changes. Still a nice bag, but not as exceptionally good for travel as it was before. What distinguished it was precisely the number of zipper pockets and organizational items that made it a great carry on and travel bag. Unfortunately, Baggallini did not lower the price of the bag to reflect the down-graded manufacturing details.

Good bag but NOT as described or pictured!
I have one of these bags from several years ago. I have used and used it and it is not in the least bit worn. I decided to replace it after a black marking pen leaked and left a large permanent stain - definitely not the bag's fault. Now I have my new bag. Will I keep it? Yes.I read recent reviews saying Baggallini had changed the bag eliminating many of the interior pockets. I went ahead and ordered the bag as the old one had far more pockets than I ever used anyway. The bag came and indeed the interior of the bag has been redesigned with quite a few missing extras. Outside compartments have only 1 small pocket instead of 2 and the mesh water bottle holders are gone - I loved these for glasses. The interior has only 1 zippered pocket as compared to 3 before, the cell phone pocket is open allowing the cell phone to fall out (on the positive side it is bigger and will hold a larger phone). And most upsetting NO KEY FOB! I need a key fob and will have to jerry-rig something. Finally the zippered wallet is missing the id viewer on the outside. The first customer review reporting changes to the bag is from July 2012. It is now the end of October. That is too long for an inaccurate product photo and description.

OK, but not favorite for a "carry on" travel bag.
I was looking for a lightweight bag to hold "carry on" items during air travel, and it did not work well for that. The bag(g) is nice quality, lightweight, attractive, and easy to carry on shoulder, but the design of the central compartment with two zippers that meet in the middle and zip to either side is a pain. The zippers are tricky to grab (clasps fall into the bag) and you need two hands to unzip it. The central compartment has a gusset that lets the bag to open extra wide when the zippers are unzipped. The bag opens to nearly flat and things fall out. You definitely need BOTH HANDS to get something out while keeping other things in. The bag will not stand up on its own when unzipped. It is not a tote bag. The outside pockets close with a center magnetic snap which does not fully secure its contents - just keeps the fabrics together. There are 3 smaller zipper pouches inside which are nice, and a detachable pouch and phone case, plus a lot of pockets for smaller items, pens, etc. but no place for an upright bottle. This might be fine for a diaper bag, reading materials, fabric, etc., but it was not useful for traveling. I used it once and went shopping for another to replace it for the next trip.

Not as good as the original
I bought one of these years ago, and have been using it daily as my purse. I love it. It's held up well, but the lining finally gave out recently, tearing. So I bought this as a replacement. It looks very similar, but as other reviewers have noted, it's not as good as it used to be.I like the "floppiness" of the bag. I usually carry it mostly empty, and the floppiness means it doesn't look like I'm lugging a suitcase around with me. But that means things don't stay in the pockets unless there's a zipper or something. The loss of some zippered pockets makes the bag much less useful. I also miss the elastic pockets. I guess they were meant for water bottles, but I used them to hold my sunglasses. The new version has a pocket for glasses in the main section, but things don't stay in it, and I liked having my sunglasses available without unzipping the main section.I'm keeping this new version, maybe to use for the beach or something. And I'm going to try to sew up the lining of the old one, for every day use.

Love Baggalini!
I'm giving it 4 stars b/c it isn't exactly what was promised. The description should be edited to say it no longer has a pocket for a water bottle. Other reviewers mentioned this but I bought it anyway, so I wasn't expecting the pocket. However, it is a feature that would have made this bag even better than it already is so I hope the manufacturers go back to the old specs. The Only Bag is lightweight, has lots of pockets w/zippers & plenty of space for everything I took on a recent trip EXCEPT the side pocket for my water bottle. I would have liked & used it.I have several Baggallinis in tomato and I love the color; it's bright but not unattractively so & it serves a purpose: occasionally, I'm asked to gate-check my Baggalini carry-on; my tomato Bagg stands out from all the other bags so I can quickly locate it and be on my way. On my recent trip, I used the Only as my purse and b/c it has a sleeve on the back, I could tote it attached to my carry-on Bagg. It made going through Customs very easy.If the water bottle isn't a big issue for you, I'd highly recommend buying it. If it is, make sure it's not an empty promise before you sit the Buy button.
