Works great for mosquito misting.
Works well, except you can spray upwards, as the liquid is gravity assisted. As long as what you are doing is downwards, or straight ahead, this works well. If you have to spray upwards, get the more expensive blower with the mister built in.

Four Stars
I have used it and works just thought more "FOG" would be coming out

It's OK, but I see why it's discontinued.
Ok, Yardshield is a closeout by Echo, no longer made. So if you want one get one now. Original price $100, can be purchased for anywhere from $18 to 50 depending upon seller and source. I got mine on the cheaper end, and the bottle of insecticide is almost worth the $$. As for the actual attachment- it's OK (which for me is a 3* rating). My biggest objection is that this is a 100% gravity feed solution. So you can't really fog upwards, like the sides of a home / into shrub / tree canopies, etc. It's fine if you want to fog grass or bushes / etc. that are knee level. It was listed for my Echo blower model, but the tube that inserts into the blower body is not molded in a way that the tube clips in like the original. So it comes apart from all of the vibration. Duct tape will fix that but you're getting into a "jerry-rig" situation. At this point I'm probably going to use the parts to build my own fogger with a combo of this blower tube and a pump sprayer that will flow the chemical even when pointing up so I can fog vertical surfaces. In retrospect I see why Echo disco'd this product. It just isn't that great, especially for the money. It's $5 worth of blower parts and a $5 bottle of insecicide, not worth the $$ they wanted for it originally. If you can get it cheap and keep your expectations low go for it-

Not Worth The Money
Way over-priced for just being able to spray down near the ground. The second you tilt the attachment upward, chemical stops coming out. It is also often described as a "fogger", but it is really a fine mist sprayer at high speed blowing, and droplet sprayer at low blower speeds. I got better results (coverage) with my regular pump-up bottle sprayer.

Junk
Does not work as advertised. Huge waste of money.

Great product!!
I have a bad mosquito problem from where I regraded my property. (2 acres) and my exterminators wanted $65 a month to spray so I looked online and found this. I luckily had an echo weed-eater already. Works awesome! I sprayed heavy 2 times in one week and now will only spray monthly. So far so good and it payed for it self the first season.

Bugs are gone when you use this
Connecting this up to my yard blower Works fantastically I have to use bungee cords in order to connect it to the shoulder pack on the blower but I'm surprised how well it actually works well worth the money

Needs valve
Works o.k. Could use a shutoff valve/proportioning valve. Gravity feed prevents this from being used effectively to spray trees.
