I love this moisturizer. It’s good under makeup and just by itself. Very hydrating and affordable. It’s my go to. I love the consistency. It’s literally like a water gel. It’s cooling and not too thick. It’s thin and it absorbs well in the skin. It works amazing. Try it if you have dry or combo skin.

Note: in the product description above, it says that this has SPF. That is INCORRECT. This is a fabulous moisturizer, but it does NOT have SPF in it! Kind of important info to get right, Amazon! Ugh. Anyway.. My favorite thing. Seriously. Not chocolate, or bubble baths, or diamond jewelry. This. This is the decadent feeling self care thing I want to do all the time, for ALL time. I want this on my face 24/7. My whole body, If I could, honestly (I could, I guess, but it'd get expensive lol). I was one of those people who thought they didn't need to moisturize their face. But I started realizing my skin looked dull and haggard. I'm almost 40 and have 3 young kids. It's been a very stressful year. All the experts keep saying it's a good idea, so...I found a lot of lists of "Great Face/Skin Products" by dermatologists featured this. I was nervous to try because I'm extremely picky about textures. I can't stand most lotions. But the descriptions people gave kept pointing out it isn't greasy or sticky. So I gave it a go, they were right, and now I'm obsessed with it. It absorbs completely within a couple minutes. No weird texture left behind. Only the most clean, enjoyable scent lingers. My skin also looks 10 years younger and I've only used it about 2 weeks. Can't guarantee it will do that for everyone (everyone's skin needs are going to be different). But if I've learned anything from this it's that everyone does need to moisturize, even if just a bit. And it likely can't hurt since this doesn't clog pores or make your skin oily. Plus it smells SO GOOD. Kind of like a "clean" scent, with just a touch of the lightest jasmine undernote. Somehow, it feels super refreshing and relaxing at the same time. I really hope they never discontinue it or change it because I want to use this for the rest of my freakin' days lol

I’ve been using this moisturizer for a few months now, and it really does hydrate the skin well. I had stopped doing skincare for a while, but after buying this cream I’ve actually noticed a good difference in my skin. It has a gel-like texture that’s very easy to apply and absorbs quickly, which is perfect for my combination skin. The size is quite small and the price is definitely on the higher side, but I assume that’s because of the quality and the fact that it’s a well-known dermatologist-recommended brand. What I don’t like is the smell. I had read about it in the reviews before purchasing but didn’t think it would be that noticeable — and it is. For a product at this price point and from this brand, you would expect a better fragrance, so I am not sure I’ll buy it again.

Hallelujah, this face gel is shaping up to be my new favorite A+ moisturizer. I have an incredibly oily T-zone, and it's always been just something that I've lived with. I've finally decided to start hunting around for products that could help me control that. This is about attempt four. I'm used to using an incredibly rich moisturizer that felt great on my skin but left it looking like an oil slick, so I wanted something that still felt good, just... helped with the oil slick issue. I think this one is it. What exactly I've been noticing here is that my skin absorbs this very quickly and it leaves behind a finish that feels a bit soft and powdery. My forehead is dramatically less shiny at the end of the day, and I'm not noticing any dry or flaky spots indicting lack of hydration in my non-problem areas. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and have yet to have any issues with breakouts or discomfort. There is a mild tingling/cooling sensation upon application, but it hasn't bothered my skin, and I'm fairly sensitive, and it fades quickly. There are just two things that aren't to my taste, and they're minor: I'd rather this gel came in a tube instead of a jar, for general convenience and hygiene; and it would be fantastic if the gel was as unscented as some of of the Hydro Boost products. Still, the slight perfume is reasonably neutral, hasn't irritated me yet, and doesn't linger. None of this will stop me from repurchasing. In my couple weeks' use, once daily, I've barely made a dent in the jar. I suspect it will be three months before I need to reorder. I combine this gel with the Neutrogena Hydro Boost sunscreen in my morning application, and dust my face with a shin-control powder; no other make-up. I think my skin looks matte and healthy for most of the day.

What I like most about this product is that it contains hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance that helps retain moisture in the skin. The only thing I would change about this product is that it does not have SPF, so I have to apply a separate sunscreen on top of it. However, this is not a big deal for me, as I prefer to use a separate sunscreen anyway. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone who has dry or normal skin and is looking for a hydrating and gentle moisturizer. It is one of the best products I have tried from Neutrogena and I will definitely repurchase it.
