Sperry Mens Authentic Original 2-Eye Seasonal

These Sperry "Topsiders" are so cool. I ordered Sperry Mens Authentic Original 2-Eye in "Burnish Grey" and they look wonderful. Of course being thicker (real) leather, their a bit stiff at first, but wearing them not only works them in, but it also begins the process of molding them to your individual feet. I got these for a nice-casual look when we leave for a long cruise. In addition, I got ratcheting casual/dress belt by Chaoren in "Charcoal Depiction/Mahogany ($19) and the colors match beautifully. This combo works with jeans and casual slacks nicely. The shoes come a little narrow-- until you break them in. If your concerned about tight shoes, I recommend going to a wide version. If you're interested in this style, try these shoes out. You won't be disappointed.

Like the shoes and the style

I am a tall woman with big feet (size 10.5-11 men’s typically) so often get men’s shoes and am typically a men’s 10.5 in Sperry shoes which is what I bought. These are nice leather boat shoes, run true to size to slightly small and also slightly narrow, which works for my foot but I could see this being an issue for others with wider feet. They are comfortable right out of the box though do have minimal arch support, FYI. It might have been better for me to go up a 1/2 size and use a gel insert for increased cushion and arch support. The black leather is a matte finish so not glossy, and they seem well made and will hopefully be durable.

I'm a happy owner of a pair of Sperry boat shoes that I purchased in-store, so I decided to purchase two more pairs on Amazon. Size - I ordered the same size as the pair I normally wear (10 US, worn usually without socks or ultra-thin socks). I also typically wear 10s with other brands. To my surprise, the Sperry's I received from Amazon are slightly bigger than the one s I already owned, albeit being the exact same size (feels more like 10.5 in comparison). Note that the old pair are not the same model as the ordered ones (cloth material vs. this one is suede leather). These are big enough that I can fit my fingers between my heel and the back of the shoes. Despite being too big, they're still very comfortable right out of the box. Great for light walking, or a mellow day, but I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing these for extensive walking, because of the (too-large) fit. Color - I ordered the grey and brown. The grey looks a little lighter colored than the pictures suggest (especially in bright sunny weather), but still a nice grey. Easy to pair with cloths. The brown looks slighter darker than the pictures suggest. I love both of them, and I think they look great. Value - for about $50/pair, these are totally worth the money. Well-made, comfortable, and looks great. Would buy them again, but recommend trying them on in person before buying. I thought that sizes would be the same within the same brand, but I guess not!

Light and comfortable , Fits well. Good value for money. I added 2 more pairs of shoes. My first pair was bought10 years ago and I am still wearing it up to this day. Thank you Sperry shoes.

All Sperry boat shoes fit standard, except collaboration and double sole models.

Bought these at the end of December 2024 and arrived in January 2025. Thus at the writing of this review, they were only 6.5 months old. With very minimal wear and no mistreatment, the rubber toe of the sole broke off while I was walking. Looks like that has been common occurrence as noted in other reviews. I will admit when putting them on the leather did not seem as comfortable as past ones I had owned. Almost more like a pleather. Not the same quality of the Sperrys I have owned previously. I have pretty much owned a pair of Sperry's of some type for 45 plus years and always found them to be top notch and they last forever. These were very disappointing. Of course no returns or replacements after 30 days so the money down the drain (I did ask the seller and they denied a replacement or refund). Not sure what is going on but based on my and other reviews I definitely would not buy these again.

Excellent in every way!

Had to return because they were larger than I'd expected. I bought a pair of Sperry's last year in size 9.5, but these were much bigger and my feet constantly slipped out. Also, they have a fuzzy lining on the inside, and I intended on using them during the summer so that wasn't ideal either. All in all, they're decent shoes, just not for my circumstances.
