Apple Studio Display - Nano-Texture Glass - Tilt-Adjustable Stand ​​​​​​​with AppleCare+ (3 Years)

Instead of buying an iMac, I chose to pair a Mac Mini with this Apple Studio Display. Since Apple laptops and iMacs can’t really be upgraded, I liked the idea of keeping the display, keyboard, and trackpad for the next 10–12 years and simply swapping in a new Mac Mini when the time comes. That way I’m only upgrading a small part of the system instead of replacing an entire computer. With that in mind: this is hands-down the best display I’ve ever used. Coming from a MacBook Air, the amount of screen real estate feels massive. The 5K resolution makes it easy to run multiple applications side-by-side, and everything is incredibly sharp, bright, and color-accurate. Yes, you can get a cheaper 4K monitor from other brands, but if you’re a Mac user, this gives you the complete workstation experience—excellent built-in camera, microphones that work great for FaceTime, and surprisingly impressive speakers. And honestly, the all-aluminum build is what puts it over the top for me. It’s a work of manufacturing art. In my opinion, pairing this with a Mac Mini feels “next level.” If you do photo or video work, it’s an obvious choice. But even if you're just considering an iMac, this setup isn’t much more expensive and gives you what I’d call the apex of the Mac desktop experience.

It came exactly as advertised and works fantastically. One thing I will say that I wouldnt count as a downside but, the nano texture sort of makes the clarity slightly grainy or not as sharp as the standard glass would be. However this function also decreased the glare substantially. I would consider this as an investment but if you can and are planning on pairing it with the apple Mac studio then it is worth the price. Another thing if you are a gamer, this is not the display for you. It only has 60 Hz refresh rate which is absolutely trash for gaming. The color accuracy is spot on.

Apple makes screens like no other. This screen is beautiful, amazing and I'm so happy with it! The packaging to protect the screen is beyond compare. Thanks Amazon for selling this beauty. And it was a good value and is perfectly compatible with my Mac keyboard and Mac mini computer!

A bute! I had no idea that an extra few inches would make such a difference (coming from iMAC). Perfect size for having a document open and a research tab alongside. The speakers are great. Screen is beautiful. Packaged well, of course.

Note: ONLY this model can be VESA mounted, say on a monitor arm. Much brighter and sharper than my 32 “ dell monitor. Comes with good speakers that make up for the Mac mini’s lack of sonic power. Frighteningly expensive ( that’s Apple for you) but well-price this last holiday.

Price is too high for a monitor periodically flickering on "auto adjust brithnest" mode and have too strong backlit. Thinking about return.
