Great product. I’ve now ran over 150 metres of this cable. Despite being pulled through conduit. Dragged through brickwork. Exceeding the minimum bend radius. Being exposed to the elements and part of the run is submerged in water. The cable works flawlessly. Speed NOT effected and the network switch shows a gigabyte connection.Have even used this for PoE for the security cameras. Once again excellent quality and speed of transmission of signal.Very easy to terminate with rj45 plugs.DONT buy CCA cat5a as that is not suitable for PoE.Also I wouldn’t bother investing the extra money in Cat6 unless your that fussed on the possible chances for interference. I have ran this cable in close proximity and alongside mains power cable and I have received no data errors. This cable is perfectly protected and shielded.It will transfer faster than any internet connection to date.

This is genuine copper cable with good quality insulation that comes on a drum for easy dispensing. The cable is quite rigid which is to be expected, but terminating the ends with RJ45 connectors is easy.I’m using this cable to connect security cameras to an NVR with the maximum cable run of approximately 40 metres and have experienced no problems.

Having used a few different types of CAT5E cable to network my house and also for outdoor CCTV, I will not be purchasing anymore of this cable. I ran the cable to the various locations before terminating the ends and wish I had tried one first as I would have returned it. This cable is extremely difficult to strip and I have found that a normal amount of pressure on my strippers cuts into the inner cores or I have a fight to strip it because I haven't used enough pressure. So I have used more of it as I have left the tails longer than normal as it takes more than one attempt to strip. It may just be me and someone else may find it easier. It was delivered quickly and it runs in nicely without coiling back on itself, But the stripping is a nightmare! I cannot comment on the durability as only just installed.

I ran about 10 meters up the side of the house and through the loft. connected it to cat6 sockets at each end and used some patch cables to connect up. Totusoft LAN speed test reports 700 - 800 mbps on a 20 meg file, which I'm not sure I really believe. But it's clearly a good fast piece of cable. No complaints from me - I'll be running this all over the house.Update - I've now run 7 lengths of this cable to every room in the house. No problems with any of them. Getting a good connection every time using cat6 sockets on either end and gigabit switches. I'd recommend this - easy to work with and gives a good result.

I've used this cable three times now (three x100 metre roles) as I was so impressed with it the first time! The cable is solid copper which means it carries data perfectly with no drop-off (my longest run has been over 70m with this cable and still get perfect performance. It's also very easy to get a good connection with crimp ends with this crimps go into the solid cable cores.It's thicker/tougher than normal indoor cable but still easy to work with.I'd highly recommend this cable for both indoor and outdoor installations.

I was a bit wary about buying this after reading some of the reviews. I have used it with video Baluns to take a signal from a cctv camera 80 meters from the DVR without any discernible loss of quality.

Does its job well a little stiff to manhandle long runs but good copper cores

Rubbish. Doesn’t work reliably at 1GB only at 100mb, so can’t be proper cat 5e. Have strip out, which isn’t easy, and replace with Excel cable, which works. You get what you pay for.
