Great value for what you get
I have a Haulmark trailer and the electric brake cable has rusted out. In the past I have just bought a new cable for $14. That was because I didn't have a crimper or a way to replace the cable. Not only does this come with EVERYTHING you need to get started, but it is extremely easy to use. The crimper works great and I was able to replace the electric brake cable in under 5 minutes. I have enough wire to make several more cable and only using this once basically paid for itself. You won't be disappointed with this purchase if you're looking for a crimper to do a few odd and end jobs around the house. My guess is this will hold up for many crimping jobs as the quality of the tool seems to be durable.

Worked out great so far for my Paramotor Exhaust Springs
Bought this wire rope kit to keep my exhaust springs in place on my Paramotor if they ever snap off. Working good so far! The tool cutter seems to get worn down quick but I can prob fix that with a little sanding of the tooth and making sure the tool is still together tight. If I have more issues I will come back for update.

Perfect, except that one thing
Recently switched from using Command Strips to actual hangers since the strips fail after a few years and cost a lot every time you want to redo things. Purchased this to add wires to many of my frames. It works great and the quality for such a low price point is awesome . I’ve already used it on at least 20 frames from sizes 8x10 to a large gallery frame. The varied sized wires and fasteners allowed for appropriate fitting and load bearing. There is plenty of wire thread in each diameter and several dozen of each size fastener. The crimper’s handle is long enough to get a proper grip and generates enough force to fully secure the fasteners easily. And it even has a wire cutter built in on each side of the crimper head for seamless transition between crimping and cutting without putting it down. The only problem is that the locking mechanism to keep the handle together for storage engages EVERY time you use the crimper and its is angled down even SLIGHTLY, the lock engages and you have to disengage the lock to reopen the crimpers (and release the fastener/wire). It is not only extremely annoying, it also slows the process down considerably because it completely defeats the ability to do multiple steps sequentially without pausing to disengage the locking mechanism in between each step. And for those who would say, “just don’t tilt it down at all,” I would challenge you to ask yourself how frequently you attach wires to frames while they are at or above chest height. This one issue is bad enough to lose two stars. I’ll probably just cut the thing off to save the constant headache.
