I've been on a mission to source high-quality cooking oil that is not highly processed and also has a high smoke point.With all of the controversy about many of the usual cooking oils, I am so happy to find this high-quality avocado oil at a reasonable priceI know that cold pressed oil is the way to go in general, this process does not degrade the oil.Avocado oil has a high smoke point and it's perfect for cooking high temperature. I've used it in the past and really liked it.This brand of organic cold pressed avocado oil fits my needs perfectlyI also really appreciate the attention to packaging. This oil is packaged in an opaque glass bottle.The opacity protects the oil from potential oxidation from UV light.Using glass bottles versus plastic also helps to preserve the quality of the oil since it stays cooler in glass.Not to mention, the oil comes from avocados sauced from a singular biodynamic farm in California.I really like the idea of knowing the of my food as much as possible. This oil ticks that box too.Granted, I can find oil for less money, however, I find that for me, this oil is actually a great value.

The seal and cap on this oil really needs to be improved. It's a cork which is not a problem, but it definitely is not air tight and oil leaks through. It also makes it a bit inconvenient when using this oil to have to constantly push the cork back in after use unless you don't recap it and leave it open. The oil itself is fine and thick. It seems potent, for example my mushrooms were kind of dyed with the oil. Would also be great as a dip with bread.

been usin this oil for a while now and it's been real good. i use it mostly for fryin stuff and makin eggs or veggies in the pan. don’t smoke up the kitchen like some other oils do. got a nice clean taste too, not super strong or weird smellin. feels a bit fancy without costin too much. i even tried it on salad one time and it was chill, just a lil thick for that maybe. bottle's a good size and lasts me a decent bit. no weird aftertaste or nothin. think it’s a good pick if you're tryin to cook a bit healthier.
