My cats love it
Tree looks exactly like the photo. I have 5 cats that range from a 20 lb male maine coon to a 8 lb domestic shorthair and they all love it. Even the 16 year old w/ arthritis in his hips is able to get up to the middle level. Solid, easy to assemble, I highly recommend.

Good cat tree for chonky cats
Got this cat tree for my mom who has two chonky, large cats and was very pleased. While many of the options on the market were made of corrugated cardboard, this one has a large (2'x2') wooden base so they won't tip it when they run and jump onto it. The product is easy to assemble without any tools-- just screw the three upper platforms in. The jute wrap is also ideal to entice cats to scratch. The only improvement would be if the jute went all the way up the column. Her cats like to stretch and when they do, they reach above the jute. It's a good value for the money-- good quality and it looks nice in the room. The platforms are also big enough for large cats or for two smaller cats to sleep together.

Cat Tested, Cat Approved! Highly Recommend!
I adopted two kittens a year ago. I've had cats my entire adult life, so we had a couple of cat trees in the house, but these two kittens, Sebastian and Roach, absolutely DESTROYED them - especially the older one. I spent a lot of time searching for the right replacement as our old cat tree continued disintegrating and the kittens got bigger each day. Sebastian and Roach are not littermates, but they accepted each other as if they had been. They play together, groom one another, and cuddle together for sleep. One of their favorite places to sleep was the top of the old, disintegrating cat tree. It had one of those round "cup" style beds on top, but it's only about 12-inches in diameter, and Sebastian grew into a rather large cat, so he can't fit with Roach in that "cup bed" anymore, which was really disappointing. I was searching for a new cat tree that let them climb and cavort, but mostly, I was looking for larger "cup beds" so they could cuddle up in the cat tree like they used to. The three cups at the top of this tree are each 15-inches in diameter, which the cats seem to like a lot more. Even our older cat, Larry, loves to sleep in the new cat tree. The lowest cup bed is about 20-inches in diameter, but they mainly use that one for rough-housing. I was really surprised at how much our big boy, Sebastian enjoys perching on the large, triangular plateau just below the three main cup beds. When he wants to sleep, however, he prefers the comfort and security of the cup beds. There is only one issue I hadn't thought about. This cat tree is placed beside a sliding glass door in my bedroom. I frequently pass between the bed and the cat tree. When shopping for a new cat tree, I compared the measurement of the base of the cat trees to my old cat tree - the new one is almost identical to the old one at 24" x 24". What I hadn't considered is that the three rather large cup beds also stick out into the path, making this new tree quite a bit more cumbersome than the old one. Except for that one tiny inconvenience, this was the perfect cat tree for our house! 10/2025 EDIT: I wanted to add that the carpet they used to cover most of this cat tree is incredibly thin and fell apart within 2 or 3 months. We purchased spools of sisal and hot glued it to the posts to hide the bare wood after the carpet fell off, but it looks pretty ratty. I wouldn't buy something this cheap again - I guess you get what you pay for.

Pretty sturdy for a big cat
Overall this is a good cat tree for the price. Pros: easy to assemble, large baskets, good size, and relatively sturdy Cons: The highest post is just ever so slightly wobbly when our 15lb Maine coon jumps down. I also wish the middle platform was larger, it seems a little cramped for our cat (would be find for an average size cat). I would definitely recommend it for a household with larger cats. we only have one cat and it works well, it might be crowded with multiple large cats. We like it and our cat likes it.

STURDY FOR MY MAINE COON!!
The carpet is nice quality. It was no tools easy to put together. I have arthritis & it was just turning into already placed screws. It is real wood & large platforms. The bottom bed is huge. My Maine Coon loved it instantly. No odors at all that I could smell. I am very, very please with this purchase and will be buying a 2nd style from this Company it is so well made! It shipped quite quickly also. This is truly a quality cat tree and worth the money. I have 3 cats. Only one is a Large Maine Coon but they play hard on the cat trees so I must feel they are safe. With this one they are!

Bait and switch
I ordered this cat tree previously and it is wonderful. It’s super sturdy and has a cat cave on the bottom and my cats absolutely love it. When I decided to buy another cat tree, it was a no-brainer to get the same one again. I used the re-order feature on Amazon. The tree had increased in price, or perhaps was no longer on sale, so I ended up paying $30 more for this one, but decided it was worth it since I knew the cats would love it as they do the first one. Unfortunately, what arrived did not match what I ordered. It’s the same general set up; however, it does not have a cat cave on the bottom. Unfortunately, without the cat cave at the bottom, the tree isn’t as sturdy because the base isn’t as heavy. The result is that it shakes when my cats leap onto it. Of course, I checked my actual order to make sure I had ordered the right product and to my dismay, I saw that the photos matched what I was sent. However, knowing that I had used the reorder feature, I couldn’t imagine how that had happened, so I checked my original order. The product in both orders is still the same, but they now both show a picture of the cat tree without a cat cave. In other words, the company changed the photos on their product so that they could send me something entirely different. Zero stars for lack of ethics and bait and switch tactics. Beyond all of the above, I’m also super annoyed that I paid more for an inferior product. I’m sure I could return this item, but it’s an extremely heavy cat tree, even without the cat cave, which made it an ordeal to get the tree into the house. The box was so heavy, I had to open and unpack it outside, then carry in the individual pieces. By the time I realized the tree had the wrong base, there was no way I was repacking everything and attempting to somehow return it when I can’t even lift the box. So I’m stuck with a cat tree that I didn’t order, having paid more for that privilege. The most annoying thing, though, is that if they’d just reached out and communicated with me (perhaps explaining they were sold out of the cat cave version) I might have just told them to go ahead and send the alternate one. Because at the end of the day, my cats do love both trees. They’re big enough for my biggest cats and so I’d be giving an entirely different review and star rating if they hadn’t used underhanded tactics to hold onto a sale. Without those tactics, I would have give 5* to the cat cave tree and 3.5* for the non-cave one due to the loss in stability. Pictures of both cat trees attached.

Cats dont love it YET, But, I SO DO & I know they will! It's awesome!
I love it! My cat's aren't really taking to it like I'd hoped, I added a pillow, sprinkled with catnip and the little jerks still are just so, so about it. I've had it about a month now, it is awesome, a nice addition to the living room, heavy enough to withstand the evil knievel stunts my tuxedo cat is famous for. Our old cat tree was the typical eyesore cat tree, when they would get playing fast and loose that thing would tip violently. It was so easy to put together, took less than 15 minutes doing by myself (just one old woman) and it was easy peezy. Its a heavy beast so, I cut the box away carefully and took in the house one piece at a time. I knew it was heavy, and knew to be on the lookout, so I met the awesome UPS Dude to help. Cats don't love yet but, I have one who sleeps in a cat bed at the base, and they'll occasionally jump on it, and investigate, and stay for a bit, I'm going to add more cushions to the top beds, I know they will. I love it! No regrets on buying this sucker, its AWESOMENESS!

Solid construction but NOT really built for LARGE CATS.
Definitely not worth the more than $200 price tag! I'm very unhappy with the color, it's not even close to the color in the photos (it's way too light). The beds are a great size but they're too close together, my big boys (18 lbs each and long bodied) have trouble maneuvering to get to the top perch because the two lower perches are too close to each other. Also, the levels are too close together, they can't even stand up all the way on the shelf because the perches are too low. This is a great cat tree for smaller cats, but it's advertised as being for BIG cats. To truly work for big cats they need to give it a larger base so the perches can be further apart and a little taller so the levels can be further apart. Solid construction, great for average size cats, just needs some design tweaks for big cats. I would return it if I could. Pros: Quality materials Solid Construction Good sized beds Cons: Not for truly large cats Beds too close together Levels too close together Color not as pictured. Obviously, color is a personal preference (but you should get what's advertised). I have three black cats so the darker color pictured would have been my preference but if you have light colored babies you might like the light one.
