A very easy to retro fit nice bright 12V reversing light

Very easy to wire and comes with stripped wire as shown. Also very Bright. Worked On My E-Scooter.

I bought this to fit to my wife's mobility scooter, which had a pathetic headlamp. For that purpose, the lamp is very good and projects a clear beam of bright light in front of the scooter. However, I don't think the light output is sufficiently powerful to light up the road very far ahead of a motor vehicle. The lamp has done what I wanted, and I consider it to be good value for money; but if you want a powerful, long range spotlight for a motor vehicle, you should expect to pay more.

I wasn't expecting much from 18w, but this tiny thing could scare vampires!I fitted this to a 125cc scooter to help me be more visible and to aid the standard headlight at night.To wire it in I used the power feed from the sidelight, via a waterproof switch. It was earthed to the frame.It's absolutely brilliant, it makes you highly visible during the daytime and makes a large pool of brilliant white light for night riding. I'm now considering fitting them to my Modern classics.

i have 4 of these lights on the front of my motor bike as day running lights, SORRY MATE I DID'NT SEE YOU is a thing of the past, i am like a sun going along the road, lots of police have seen you coming towards them

It does have 6 LEDs. They are 3W LEDs.but ....The driver circuit can't feed more than 12W to the LEDs. I tested this with a bench power supply. Hooked up to the power cable, the sweet spot was 12V, 1A. Raise or lower the voltage and the power consumption drops. At 24V it was down to 9W.After taking it apart and driving the LEDs directly, they're quit happy run at 18W and nice and bright.If you want it for a DIY project, it's good. If you want an LED spotlight that delivers 18W, look elsewhere.
