I've been struggling with a single nail for more than six months. The nail developed some sort of condition (my hands are often in water) that caused the nail to raise up from the nail bed in layers, nasty to look at and unpleasant to live with. I wanted to both cure the problem and protect the nail in the process, since the peeled up section of nail could easily catch on something and rip the nail off. I assumed that would be painful and wanted to avoid it.I've tried a series of solutions over the last six months - treatments for nail fungus (did nothing at all), nail hardeners (painful and useless), "nourishment" for nails (no difference). I'd finally all but given up and had the nail enclosed in the tip of a rubber glove which I used a bandage to keep in place. This at least protected the vulnerable nail but did nothing to heal it.So I was primed to try anything that looked like it might help. I didn't expect results, but I was determined to keep trying anyway - and then I saw this gelike protein nail conditioner. Hmmmm. I decided to take a chance. It is, like the name says, gel-like in consistency so that when it is applied it makes a fairly thick layer over the nail. I carefully cut away the loose bits of nail and gave it a coat. It immediately looked better, almost like a normal nail. I let it dry and applied a second coat. That was three days ago. It has effectively fused the loose layers of nail together and the nail is both strong and healthy looking. I can now use the hand in question in a normal way, without trying to protect the nail. To all intents and purposes, it's strong and healthy as my other nails. I'm pleased and grateful that this product has worked better than I could have hoped. The bottle contains a generous amount at a very inexpensive price. Highly recommended.

It made my nails harder.

While I'm not crazy about the look of lavender haze color, this Nail Growth Oil and Strengthener Polish made by gelike ec did help my poor, dry and split nails. I've been using it for about two weeks now and I've notice my nails look better and feel stronger. What I don't like about it is that the sheer color streaks when you apply it so it tends to go on unevenly and look patchy. If you apply multiple coats it chips easily. You have to remove and reapply this frequently to keep it looking decent. While the concept of color plus strengthener is a good one, it might be better to get the clear coat and use it as a base which is what I think I will do next time.

This definetly makes your nails feel stronger. I did two coats of the light pink and it was enough. I should have done one more. It dries pretty quickly too. The size of the bottle is an average size of normal nail polish. It’s easy to use and the brush makes it easy for coverage all over too.I also love the pink color, it’s beautiful and light.
