So very very bright!
Wow! Turns night into day almost. Hehe. And low energy use. Wonderful lights! We have 4 for our security lights outside. Looks like daytime out there!

Good quality
We have been buying these for our church auditorium. So far, none of them have gone out. I am guessing that we put the first one in about 5 years ago.

Let there be light!
And a LOT of it. Don't be like a certain U.S. president during a partial solar eclipse and look directly at them -- they are seriously bright. I replaced a couple of older (> 13 years since they came with the house) halogen bulbs and one of these crushed two of those. I was specifically looking for dimmable led to hang 20 feet up to light up the back yard. I bought cheaper lights for the front and side but I wanted the kids to be able to play in the back and they definitely deliver. They are also 5000K which means "daylight" white...not yellow...which again is what I wanted in the back yard. I have them Alexa controlled using a leviton wifi enabled led dimmable switch. So the bulb is NOT Alexa enabled..the switch is..I just wanted to be clear. At the lowest "Alexa 1%" setting of the switch it is still pretty bright but that's because of the switch too...I think.Anyway...if you're looking for a "brighter than most" par38 bulb you're in the right place. They've only been up a few weeks so I can't tell you about longevity but if something happens I'll be sure to update. I expect to get a lot of use out of these this spring and summer. (Installed during the Covid-19 pandemic in April 2020)

Light goes far.
Installed this on our long drive way and overlooking a path.Casts plenty of light super far.Oddly freeing being able to go outside at night without the need for a flash light.

250 Watt Equivalent: Amazing
I ordered the 250 watt equivalent LED with warm white color and 40* spread to replace a 60 watt halogen the builder had installed and burned out about a year in. This new LED is such a massive upgrade at less than half the energy consumption. I am blown away buy how much better I can see into the woods behind my yard, this was worth the full MSRP price, if you see it on sale just buy it!

Sylvania Night Chaser LED Bulb Very Bright
First of all, this bulb does not have a motion sensor so not sure why that was included in the review criteria. I selected this bulb because of brightness and longevity and use it to light up my yard. I use it in a plastic fixture with a yard stake and plug it into a timer so it comes on automatically. It has been through many rainstorms without any issue.

Brightest flood light yet!!
I have a motion flood light on both corners on the back of my 70 foot long house to be able to see my dogs at night. When one of the 150 watt halogen ones went bad I got the brightest advertised led one I could find and was very happy with the brightness of it. I could actually see where it lit up the yard a good deal more where it overlapped the edge of the other halogen. About a year later the other halogen went out so I planned to get the same led bulb as I used the first time. As I was looking for it I found this one and decided to give it a try. What a difference! This bulb actually lit up the back yard much further out, wider and brighter than the first led bulb. You could easily see where this bulb actually "drowned out" the other one where they overlapped. I couldn't believe how much brighter it was so I got another one for the other end of the house and I now have a backyard that's lit up like a ballpark at night!Highly recommended

BRIGHT, HEAVY DUTY AND SUPER EFFICIENT
A few years ago I bought the 5000K version of this lamp. The light was a little bit ghostly white for me. I switched to a brighter jumbo CFC bulb - using it in my Ikea "NOT" floor lamp to illuminate the room. Lately I got around to testing the wattage of things around the house AmWatt THP103 meter and discovered that the CFC was rated for 105 watts, but actually pulled as much as 360 watts. I reinstalled the Sylvania 5000K version of this LED lamp, and decided that it gave off more than enough light for my needs, and the thing literally pulled only 24 watts. A few days ago I ordered the 3000K version of this lamp, and the warmer, more yellow color is much more pleasing for my bedroom, and when testing it too fluctuated between 25-26 watts. Super efficient! Also, I thought the casing of these bulbs were metal, because they are so sturdy and heavy. The website says they're plastic, and I guess it is but it's heavy. Outdoors I think they'd last just about forever. Just make note that they are directional and you need a sturdy enough socket to hold the bulb up. The upright lamp stand is just fine for indoor use. Great buy!

I can actually see what I'm doing now
Broke a finger working on farm equipment in the dark. Couldn't see what I was doing and crushed my hand. Lights around the barn were just standard 60w led bulbs. Replaced all the fixtures with dual par spot lights, and used these for bulbs. I can see a good 50m away from the barn now. And have semi usable light at 100m

Very bright!
These lights are an excellent choice for replacing your standard motion sensor flood light bulbs. They are very bright and light up my whole driveway at night! Purchased 4 of them and wouldn't buy anything else.

Bright but directional
Very bright, but not a super wide coverage area.
