Your health premium
I have to admit, I enjoy buying fresh pressed juices from my nearby health store, but health wise decided to give this a try, after researching best choices I was lured to Hurom. It was a risk decision as a first timer to spent $699 (Oct 2018) but decided to go for it. Picked up my order after a delay on my prime delivery to an amazon location, I nervous at first but the unboxing was easy, and the authenticity hologram eased a bit my concerns. Assembly was as instructed and the instruction book could use a bit more of a UK English or US English finesse but did the job. Really interesting recipe book. I pickup some goodies at Whole Food without breaking the bank on produce, good deals for prime members. First run made over 32 ounces of apple, kale, ginger, spinach and celery juice. Amazingly easy to this beautiful machine works. Follow the instructions on food preparation, specially removing seeds and chopping down some of the items like carrots and beets. Cleans up was easy. You can’t beat the self feeding hooper!I actually love preparing the food I am about to juice, removing seeds, and brown parts and it requires some relaxing time doing it but the self feeder works it’s magic automatically. Fill up cabinet and let it do it’s work.I am a bit concern with the toque affecting a bit the metal top as shown in one of my pics. This is my third week. Incredible price drop. I will update my review in a couple of months.Update December 6 —So far my favorite juice mix are:Green = Kale+apple+celery+ginger+(lemon some times)Red = beets + ginger + apple + pear + turmericOrange = carrots + oranges + turmeric + some times apples

Great product
Very happy with this juicer. A little bit pricey but works great and easy to clean. But the main think is that does the job for you. I cut the veggies & fruits the way company advice at night and in the morning load all in the Hopper Chute and turn ON the machine. While I am getting ready for work, the juice is ready. I use the Dual Hopper attachment after coming home from work and in the weekends by feed the juicer manually. The pulp comes out dry and the Pulp Container is on the bottom of the juicer. I will order one for Christmas present for my daughter's family. THANK YOU "HUROM" DESIGNERS AND ENGINEERS FOR GOOD THINKING!This juicer is the 2nd I've ordered for my daughter's family. Fits perfect on the kitchen counter. Its 6 inch wide & 10 inch deep, perfect!

The perfect juicer
The first one had a bad motor and wouldn't drive forward. The second one was a dream. And then ordered another one for my travel/work location. I love the self-feeding hopper which is big enough to generate 16 oz of juice. Clearly, a lot of engineering went into the design so you get what you pay for. This Hurom H-AI are replacements for the Breville Elite Fountain that I've had for years and still works like a tank. However, Hurom has made me a believer that their juicers make a far more superior juice product. I get a few more ounces of cold juice with the Hurom as well.

Seems like a lot of wasted time. They want you to pre-cut everything to 1"
Pros:Juice tasted great. Not much pulp in the juice. Looks great. Very quiet.Cons:Seems like a lot of wasted time. Carrot and apple pieces are to be cut to 1" before juicing. Wheatgrass or sprouts, cut to 1" before juicing. I am not a sous chef. Spent more time cutting than anything. The chamber doesn't make any sense. I have an older Hurom that works better and was half the price. I also have an NC from Omega that does better than both. Pulp container does not hold much pulp. Plus, they suggest you completely clean the machine after running so much produce through the machine. For this much money, should not be so fragile. A little big for the counter.

a 'different' kind of warranty
updated 19 jan 2020:hurom honored the warranty. they paid to ship the broken unit back, they paid to send a new one to me. motor should not have died in less than a year of use, but at least hurom handled the replacement process well.updated 24 dec 2019:motor died. totally silent. if this happens with a company that has a real warranty (like Omega), not an issue. the Hurom warranty is 'different'. they told me their warranty covers two things:1) defective unit or parts sent to customer at time of original purchase2) if there is a recall on a partfor #1 above, Amazon already covers it. receive something defective via Amazon prime, it can be returned easily via Amazon. for #2, ever know of a juicing company to recall a part? with Omega, when product is under warranty, Omega pays for the new part, and customer pays for shipping. with Hurom, customer has to pay for BOTH the part and the shipping, and the parts are expensive. that's called a warranty? a ten cent O ring type seal broke on the Hurom. the charge for 'warranty' repair was usd 70+ for a new bowl and the shipping. will find out in the coming week what the charge will be for 'warranty' repair on the dad motor.original review:i believe this is the first single augur vertical juicer with a self feeder. the self feeder works well. i have used an omega vertical juicer for years, loved it, and the warranty service is good (15 years on the omega). the motor gave out recently, and i switched to the hurom. except for the self-feeder, the two machines are similar, and make a similar quality of juice. can do all vegetables and all fruits on both machines. the hurom build feels slightly sturdier with thicker, stronger plastic and the omega has what i believe is a design flaw that prevents the auto wiping blades from turning after a few months of usage (relies on a notch instead of a gear to turn the auto wiping blade). the self feeder on the hurom makes a big difference, load a bowl, flip a switch, the machine takes care of the rest. i'm guessing in future generations, the bowl will get larger, and someday will not need to cut the produce into small pieces before loading into the bowl. you can get same quality juice with a lot less expensive machine, but if you have the budget, the self feeder makes for a more pleasant juicing experience.
