this is astonishingly good value. If you are thinking of converting one of your violins to a viola by moving across the G D and A strings and putting a C string in then this is the thing to buy. That is what I did and it sounds really good. Much better than i expected or was led to believe by forums on the net. Good strings for a 1/4 size “viola”
These strings went on a1/4 size violin. There is usually a problem getting the wider strings into the adjusters but I was able to widen the C string adjuster just enough to ease the ball in. I cut about 3” from the top of the strings to get everything in the peg box.The playing sound and feel is surprisingly good; delighted to find a good string for the small viola. Thank heavens for modern string technology.

Sounds great
Listen, the thinnest string just pops. It just does. I always buy more of the A String for the viola. This brand is great, but if you have a beginner or middle schooler, buy extra of the thinnest string.
