2014 Cadillac XTS CUE Screen replacement using a replacement CUESCREENS Premium Screen
The Cuescreens instruction videos for removing the the CUE module from the car(XTS) and swapping out the old touch screen with the new Cuescreen were very clear and easy to follow. There was no video about re-installing the Cue module back into the car as the assumption is that you could probably just refer to the uninstall video as a reference. I found it helpful to view several "other" YouTube videos on this subject that showed other DIY experiences in performing these tasks including the re-installation of the CUE module and seeing what other DIY'ers ran into and what tips they offered. Removing interior panels and disconnecting switches and wires isn't hard but can be tricky in terms of how you line up clips or even pull the panel/switch out. The new CUE touch screen worked right from the start and is much better than the original screen on my XTS that had already been replaced by GM under warranty once before. As far as the time to take the CUE module out(4 hours), swap the screen(3 hours), and re-install the module( 3 hours), I invested about 10 hours as I purposely took my time and watched the videos as I did each step in the car or on my workbench. The Cuescreen videos were very clear on where delicate actions needed to be taken to avoid any costly damages to the module or screen. Cuescreens has a Trouble Shooting video which you should watch before starting as it reinforces what areas to be aware of that might cause a new screen issue. As far as tools, having the right sized Phillips head screw drivers is important as the screws are small & could easily be damaged by using a too large screwdriver. Having a magnetic pickup tool is useful in some of the spaces to get the screw/bolt out after you've loosened it all the way. Using an interior panel removal tool is also a good idea to avoid damages to panels or parts when trying to remove them.

Great replacement
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Perfect replacement at a fraction of the cost of the dealer. The original screen in my 2017 Escalade was “dancing around” thinking that the screen was being touched, scrolling through screens, etc. especially when it was hotter outside and I had my CarPlay plugged in. No visible bubbling or screen cracking like some other reports. The instructional videos on the CueScreens website were great, make sure to watch them in full before each step…a lot of small screws that you need to keep organized to put it all back together. Only issue I had was chipping a wood trim piece when I put everything back together, which was my fault. Been installed for about a week and working well.

Great Product/Affordable
Why did you pick this product vs others?:After reading reviews and researching the product I decided it was worth a try. So I ordered, got it the next day as advertised, my son and his friend put it in and I now have have my radio, map and other features back. Thank you so much for making it possible to have the features of my car back at an affordable price. HUNDREDS less than the dealership. Again, thank you!!

Saves money.
I bought this product for my 2016 Cadillac SRX. I did not install it myself because I wasn’t comfortable doing that. I paid CarToys in my town to install it. I’m very pleased with the product so far. So nice to have a clear screen again that works with touch. Buying myself saved several hundred dollars.

Gel-Free screen, much better than original, more responsive to touch.
I finally found the courage to replace my Cue Screen in my 2014 last week. It took about four hours to pull the Cue system out of the car, take it apart install the new gel-free screen (this is the third and best one) and reinstall back in the car. It was worth all the trouble, I saved more than 1500 dollars doing it myself as opposed to taking it to a dealer. I installed the Cuescreens Premium Touch, Dual Mode including trim tools, worth every penny.
