I have ordered these notebooks multiple times. They are comparable to Moleskine mini cashiers but at a more affordable price. As an artist, I am always sketching and writing notes and need something easily portable. I always keep them on hand, either in my pocket or bag. I keep one in the car with some crayons for the kids to draw (a life savor for restaurants and long waits!) The paper quality is good for pen, ink, colored pencil and even a light wash. The price point does not make me treat them as precious, and they get a lot of use.

These are the perfect little books to use for making notes or even writing down passwords to your stuff they're small and compact so I can put them in my backpack without an issue

Because it’s the perfect size 3.5x5.5. The ink from the type of pen I use doesn’t bleed through as much as it did with moleskines. The cover feels a little cardboardy, thick card stock where as the moleskine feels almost like a stiff cloth. Additionally, theirs no little pocket on these particular notebooks and no perforations for the pages. Both of these features are on moleskine though.Now, with the differences out of the way. It fits in my pocket. It doesn’t bleed through (v5 pen). Lays open and flat when you want it to. I like that these notebooks are thread bound instead of staple bound. Paper quality with tack glue (like Elmer’s), stiffens up like a board. This paper feels more smooth instead of rough so it doesn’t soak up and spread ink too much, so if you’re an artist this might be the best “to-go” notebook!

They fit perfectly in any pocket including shirt pockets.

Great and compact- good for on the go

I recently purchased a Louise Carmen journal in the Ernest size. These Moleskines (3.5 x 5.5) fit PERFECTLY inside. I can comfortable fit 4, even with the LC portfolio inside. I do have a thicker and structured agenda inside so I currently only have 3, but could fit 4, it would just look a bit bulky and wouldn't close completely. Will definitely continue to purchase these, so much easier than getting and waiting for refills from the LC website!

These notebooks are great for throwing in your purse. You never know when you need to write something down! Great for meeting notes. Love the black cover as well. Would definitely purchase again!
