Archangel Saint St Raphael Icon The Healer Authentic Russian Wood Wall Hanging 6 1/4 Inch

Lovely icon. Far lovelier than expected because I have other wood mounted icons, that though nicely done, are not as lovely as this one. The gold painting on this icon is so reflective of the light coming in the room. I like looking up from my desk to see St. Raphael watching over the world.

This was a gift for my husband. The icon represents the Archangel Raphael who is a symbol of the physician. My husband retired from his medical practice of forty years and being a deeply spiritual man this was placed in his prayer and quiet room.
