My skin has become dry from laying or sitting too much due to an injury. I was afraid that it would crack or that I'd get bed sores, or pressure point sores. My doctor told me to get something to protect my skin from breaking down. I found this on Amazon and ordered it because of all of the good reviews. I am very pleased with this cream. The jar is large and should last me for some time. Although the cream is thick, it is not hard to apply and it's not greasy. I applied it as my doctor suggested. I applied it to my palms and rubbed my hands together, then gently smoothed the cream over my skin rather than putting it on my fingers and trying to spread it. It worked beautifully. After a few minutes I dabbed my skin with a clean towel to see if any cream had not been absorbed. There was no excess cream, and my skin is beautifully smooth while being protected. All of the lines in the skin that were showing in the areas where the pressure was being applied to my skin from laying or sitting and the supports I have to use, are gone. There is no more redness. I hope this continues to work so well for me. I'm going to be off of my feet recovering (hopefully) for some time to come.I highly recommend this cream. I'd suggest asking your doctor if you are looking for help with skin in danger of breaking down, or for pressure point sores/bed sores.

As a caregiver to the elderly, I discovered this product when a hospice nurse brought it to help skin issues from incontinence for one of my patients. One day The nurse came when I had a heat rash under my breasts, iI mentioned this and she told me to try the Lantiseptic...it was gone the next day!! I told a friend in a nursing home to try it on one of her patients that got continual infections in the rolls of her skin and after few days those issues were healed as well.! I am never without a jar now!!

I got this product because I get skin tears under my breasts, I have tried literally everything.. even when I wear bras I still get skin tears. So I put this under then and in a little over a day they where healed!!!! I also use it on one of my sons inner knee. I love this stuff. HIGHLY recommended. It’s just the right thickness too.

Med came on hot day,lid came off and made a mess,will not ever order in summertime.Amazon offered to take back but I don't go out just not worth it.

Nice for everyday. Thinner cream than the medicated blue jar product. Use the blue/white for treating sore areas. Use this more for prevention. Both products good. Recommended to us by visiting nurse.

It’s awesome

Nice to find this product again, it is very similar to the prior formula. Is very calming to irritated skin, especially perineal excoriation! But also works well on dry cracked skin such as found during winter months! Is greasy so beware when applying.
