The design is beautiful and a perfect fit for my master bath design. I've learned from the company that all Delta shower heads are plastic, so don't be shocked by that detail. The handle & base is steel. All parts are coated in the spot shield finish and ensures durability according to Delta. I recommend it because you cannot tell if you don't touch the shower head.

I am pleased with this product. The chrome looks very nice and the mixing valve works great. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because of the material used. The backplate that covers the mixing valve is very light weight. Either a light metal or plastic and chrome plated and tends to leave water marks very easily. The handle is metal and heavy which gives it a nice sturdy feeling when opening and closing the valve. The shower head is plastic and very light weight. The chrome plating looks very nice though. I would’ve preferred that all components were metal and no plastic, but what matters is that it looks great and performs well.

After completing the Delta installations I get an email from Delta Faucets to evaluate their products. When I click on the link provided it redirects me to their home page with no links to any review portals.Guess Facebook and Amazon are my only optionsWe really like Kohler and now we understand even more why.The Delta design is clumsy – a big rounded handle and a big square escutcheon.The finish scratches if you look cross-eyed at it.The final step in installation is the handle. This is where I discovered that the handle set screws were not included in the packaging and called Delta. Delta does not stock separate screws and had to order them. ETA two weeks. Now that the new handle won’t hang on the stem it was another trip to the hardware store to buy set screws.Between the shower arm and the bezel there is a compatibility issue. The shower arm may not be round. I suspect it is a manufacturing issue when the shower arm is bent forcing it out of round. When the shower arm is installed and bezel is slid up over it to the wall the shower arm is scratched.Delta will not be considered in any future acquisitions. We really like Kohler.

We purchase this for a remodel bathroom. Delta is a good brand so of course why not?Very disappointed. It looked nice and stylish but very cheap made. To begin is plastic not metal. The handle has 2 pieces, one to control water temperature and the other one to open and close. The temperature handle is already broken, because is plastic there's no way to readjusted. Honestly a waste of money.

I had to go back and look at the description to see if I misread something, but it says the material of this shower head trim kit is brass. Nope. (Amazon, you might want to edit that). The handle is brass. The plate that the handle attaches to on the wall of the shower is some kind of finished tin and the valve piece is metal. The rest - plastic. Seriously? Delta is asking people to pay that kind of money for plastic? The shower head is a big, square, venetion bronze painted piece of plastic. The lever to adjust the shower pressure is plastic. I would return it but am locked into Delta because of what the plumber plumbed into our shower. I called Delta to ask if a different shower trim kit I was interested in was plastic - maybe I would swap them out. Yep. That one is plastic too. Seems that Delta has decided to increase their profits by charging high prices for plastic fixtures. I sure wish I would have know this so I could have changed brands to Moen or Price Pfister. I have Delta in all of my bathrooms (3) and this is the first time I've received such inferior quality for a Delta product. I'm stuck with this over priced cheap plastic shower trim kit for now. So if you want high priced plastic junk for your shower, Delta is your brand! It's pretty but I honestly can't see the finish lasting for more than a couple of years. One slip of an abrasive sponge or cleaner and it's ruined. Horribly, horribly disappointed.

Finish on this product is really nice and a bit different than the standard oil rubbed bronze. There is more of a brushed look to this. Unfortunately the fit wasn't great, especially considering the price of this vs hundreds of other options. The shower head will not seal on the angled pipe even with the rubber gasket/strainer. The gasket doesn't even work because it doesn't thread on far enough to make a seal (2 or 2.5 threads max). Tightening further only resulted in the finish on the pipe being scratched from my tools which should never happen as it should never need to be this tight. I ended up having to use wayyy to much teflon tape on the threads to get a seal. Delta quality doesn't seem to be what is used to be. I'll probably try something else next time which is unfortunate because I have Delta faucets all over my house.

I searched high and low for the best faucet and am incredibly pleased. Although you can't change the water pattern, the pressure is fantastic and feels luxurious. Large area covered in the spray pattern, and not a lot of overspray (meaning I can hop in with a ponytail and my hair actually stays dry). Love the dual nozzle for water temp and on/off. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic set - bought the first one from another plumbing distributor for my first bathroom remodel and when I saw Amazon carried it as well (and for $50 less) it was a no-brainer to pick up a second for my master bath shower remodel. The only caution I'd put is for people who have very hard water--and this applies to any chrome fixture--this set WILL show water spots if you aren't very diligent about wiping it down after each use. It's not a big deal and in no way impacts function or aesthetics, but if you're a real stickler for super-shiny chrome, just be aware.

Very nice shower head. For the price I would of thought that the shower head would be made of metal but it is not it's plastic. Other than that I have not installed the product yet but I will update when it is installed. Overall nice product but cheap materials used for the price.
