Review: Incredibly effective sharpening system! - I’ve invested more than I’d like to admit in a variety of sharpeners, including wet stones, multiple variations of Work Sharp systems, and finally, the T-4 While they all have their place, if I’d started with the T-4 I’d have saved a bunch of $$, and had incredibly sharp knives, chisels and scissors a lot sooner, and with a lot less effort. What a great system! Not cheap, but totally worth it. I only wish I’d found it sooner.

A: The price is US dollar and the machine cannot be shipped to Australia from the US.

**Q: Which of T-4 or T-8 would be best complementary tool to my grinder with cbn 8” wheels for sharpening hollow ground chisels and plane irons?**
A: The T-4 is designed to be used with 200mm (8")x 40mm (1 5/8") wheels whereas the T-8 is designed to be used with 240mm (10") x 50mm (2") wheels.

**Q: How do you sharpen table saw and circular blades?**
A: The Tormek is not able to do those. You will need equipment specifically designed for circular saw blades. The Tormek system is designed mainly for hand tools, such as chisels, gouges, knives, scissors, etc.
