Firstly,they are well made and finished to a good standard -hence the 5 stars-and I realise they are made for a different lock system.However,if you are planning to try and use as a standard mortice 2in1 ..don`t.The pick is about a quarter of an inch too short that it will not touch the narrow levers let alone manipulate them.As most locks have at least one narrow lever you are not going to be able to open it.A nice addition is they include a zig-zag pick for the bolt for those keyways but not the lever pick so even if you could pick the levers you cannot get the lever pick inside the lock.It may be of use to a certain lock but if you are looking to use it on mortice locks forget it. A quality product that does another job.

Firstly as others have said , this does not fit many uk mortice locks. the pick lever is too short . and the lever that binds onto the bolt to tension the lock gives up before it fully moves it as it loses contact with it .as for "one piece stainless steel" ??? wow the only parts that are indeed stainless steel are the two round attached handles.the center shaft that tensions the bolt seems to be a chromed metal . the pick parts are chromed brass (i know i filed them down to fit a lock ) , the outer sheath that the center wire goes through is some kind of cheap soft metal its very rough and catches on the lip of any lock you insert it into making it very hard to turn .it seems solid enough , its just not fit for any uk locks. nor is it all stainless steel !.a real shame at this price i did expect better. if it had been all stainless steel it might have risked it in a few more locks but being the tips are brass and may snap off i don`t think i will . just another tool not as it claims to be .lesson learned .

Good item to have on learning to handle this type of lock picking

These work on small mortise keyed safes, were the keyway is shorter than household locks, the 2 picking legs are to short for household mortise locks but are ok for the cheaper mortise safes
