my stock ones didnt even come with a foam pre filter
for the cost of one "OEM" filter, you get two. AND, the OEM doesnt have a foam pre filter on it.. whats up with that >?easily recommend these when replacing your John Deere ( thats my lawn tractor ) air filter. best price, a foam pre filter, and two for the price of most OEM singles..

Great filter replacement for JD MIU14395/B&S 594201 in my D130 JD
These appear better in some ways than the oem, in that they have metal mesh and thicker removeable, washable foam over the pleated paper. They fit nicely, but are maybe 1/16" shorter, so they don't fit as tightly lengthwise as oem, so I slipped a small piece of cardboard between the filter end and filter compartment. Probably not necessary, but doesn't hurt. They do fit snuggly into the round portion on the engine, which makes a good seal, but I smeared some silicone grease around the inside of the round rubber filter hole to seal even better. Hope these last as long as oem, and they look like they should.
