Yes, you can shower with it but wipe it dry with a soft cloth as soon as you are out of the water. Do not wear in chlorinated water such as hot tubs and swimming pools and avoid salt water and household cleaners such as bleach or ammonia or any other harsh household chemicals.

No, it is not a cheap bracelet. I wear mine in the shower. I probably shouldn't, but I have. Just dry it immediately. Glad I purchased it...it is lightweight, but sturdy. I am considering getting the matching chain.
