Floor Pedal Box Micro Switch Fits EZGO

Sometimes when pushing the pedal on our older Ezgo golf cart it would go slow or hop / jump and other times would not move at all, tapping the pedal several time would sometimes get it going and other times it was like the batteries were dead. I read many comments on this issue and watched several YouTube's and came to the conclusion that the floor pedal switch may have went bad. Under the floor mat there is a small plastic box about 6inch x 6inch and after removing the four screws to the lid of the box there is the switch, this switch has two mounting screws and two wire clips. I pulled the old one out and replaced with the new one and this totally fixed our go/no go issue. I could manually work the old switch and feel it hanging up and sticking so it was a bad switch. The project only took a 1/2 hour or so and the hardest part was getting the side plate off that holds the floor mat down. Shipping was fast on this part and even though the part numbers on the old and new switch don't match up in any way, the size, shape and wire connectors of the switch's are exactly the same. For note, I took a picture of the old switch before I ordered the new one and matched it up to the picture of the new one. Hope this helps!
