## Description

Blue Jeans Cable's LC-2 analog audio cables are optimized for the needs of unbalanced ("RCA") audio interconnection. In unbalanced audio, noise rejection is mainly a function of shielding effect in audio frequency. The LC-2 has two high coverage copper braided shields stacked instead of one, providing high coverage, superior audio frequency shielding performance, and low resistance to ground on both ends. With a small center conductor and large foam dielectric, the LC-2 provides low capacity (about 12pF/ft) and limits high-frequency roll-off. These cables feature Taversoe RCA plugs. Brass body design with gold-plated contact surface and leaf spring grounding for a secure fit to jack. LC-2 cables are assembled in our Seattle, WA shop

- UNIQUE DESIGN: The LC-2 is not a standard stock cable. Specially designed to optimize the performance of unbalanced ("RCA") analog audio with coaxial geometry, but lower capacitance and better shielding than normal coaxial coaxial
- HEAVY SHIELDING: The LC-2 is shielded with two high coverage bare copper braid and laid directly on the other. This provides the best shielding performance and lowest resistance possible at audio frequencies and prevents the hum in the ground loop
- Low Noise: Our shield configuration not only provides effective EMI reduction, but also avoids friction electrical noise issues caused by "combination" shields. It is especially important when the signal level is low, such as the phonograph connection
- Low Capacitance: Interconnect capacitance may cause high frequency roll-off. Due to the large spacing between shield and center conductor and the use of high foam dielectric, the LC-2 has a capacitive capacity of approximately 12 pF/ft
- HIGH FLEXIBILITY: The LC-2 is a thick cable but is amazingly flexible, with a soft PVC jacket and foam dielectric elements
