Works great! A lot of reviews say that it takes forever to heat anything up, NOT mine! It takes roughly 40 mins for refrigerated items and an hour for frozen. My chicken turns out moist and tender, not rubbery like from a microwave. I use this three nights out of the week since I travel for work. When I'm home I make extra for dinner, pack it into the lunchbox and it's good to go!!

My wife suggested I buy this so I can have hot meals at work during the winter time.I work in the electronic security industry so I work in various locations,many of them under construction so I don't always have access to a microwave to heat up the leftovers I bring for lunch. During the summer here it's really hot so I can just leave the leftovers on the dash by the windshield & they get plenty hot by the time lunchtime rolls around. The fall & winter that doesn't work so well.This lunch box food heater works very well using the 12v adaptor into the outlet in my van & I've also used the 110v plug with the power inverter in my van. I've only used it 4 times so far all with leftover meat like chicken,roast & beef rib meat.I always wrap them in foil so they don't sear to the pan.You do have to check on it to flip over the foil pouch so the other side gets heated as well.It does heat up fairly quickly so after 30-40 min. the meat is heated pretty well.I also wrap up flour tortillas & heat them up as well.So far I haven't tried it with soup or stew or a pasta dish but I assume it will work just as well with those.The product seems to be fairly well made but I fell I have to be careful with the snaps,they just seem like they may break if you're not careful snapping them on. The lid does snap tightly so I'm assuming if I load it with a more liquid meal it won't spill out.Overall I'm happy with the product in the short time I've used it & showed it to a co-worker who is now going to order one as well. Even the spoon & fork that come with it feel nice & sturdy,they're just a bit smaller that full sized utensils. For the price you really can't beat it & I would recommend it for anyone looking for something like this.
