Really nice swing – it's very comfortable and pleasant to sit in. Only downside is that the shade is a bit too small, and the attachment is plastic. One of the screws pulled out of the plastic and needed a repair. Fairly minor issue on an otherwise nice chair.

I hardly know what to say about this swing. I ordered it specifically thinking my infant granddaughter would love it for years to come and she appeared to. It arrived last month and I hired my furniture assembly guy to put it together for me. He hadn't done anything like this before but very quickly managed it. He liked it and took a picture to add to his website. I mentioned to him I had read reviews that alluded to rust as a problem with this swing and asked his opinion about the possibility that might occur. He answered saying we didn't live at the coast and he didn't foresee that as a potential problem. I felt better knowing that he deals with similar items every day. In fact, he had assembled patio furniture for me 18 months ago which also has a metal frame and there is no visible rust anywhere on it. Everything appeared to be fine until last week. To my surprise, I noticed not one, but several areas of rust had begun to appear on the exposed edges of the frame. I began Googling how to remove rust from metal thinking if I could get it under control immediately I could stop it. These edges have already become rough and I can foresee they could possibly cause an injury if they worsen. Today, I noticed patches of rust were appearing on portions of the frame that are smooth with no exposed edges. I am so disappointed. Not only did I pay for this item, but I also paid for my assembly guy to put it together. Who would have thought that in less than a month it would begin to rust? I live inland, more than 100 miles from the coast. Supposedly, I have 2 more days to return this. It weighed over 80 pounds when delivered. I have no idea how to disassemble and box it for a return. Of course, I can't keep it if it's going to continue to rust, especially at such an alarming rate. I don't know what to do. Initially, I loved this and so looked forward to the fall when I could really enjoy it. However, I can't recommend it considering it began to rust less than 3 weeks after I received it. Be aware if you purchase this you may face the same problem. I would like to amend this review to note that the company did refund my money. I contacted them explaining what had occurred and very quickly received it. That's a slight help but this entire purchase event will still end up costing me several hundred dollars. I paid my assembly guy $120, which was his regular rate. He did a great job, quickly as usual. I must now pay him again to disassemble the swing. I intend to offer it to him. He might be aware of something he can do to control the rust issue. If not, I will have to pay to have it hauled away, costing even more. The rust continues to spread. It's clearly obvious this is a quality control issue since some people have no problems with this, and others are seriously affected. Looking only at the one photo of rust I shared, it looks as though the paint wasn't applied correctly. Unfortunately, the entire frame has this problem. I decided to buy this because it was cheaper than the others I looked at. What a mistake, as it has cost me several hundred dollars, even with the refund. Not to mention the wasted time, along with the added degree of stress and anxiety. And I'm not through with it yet! Please spend a little more. You may save yourself money in the long run, and certainly significantly less aggravation.

Compared to some of the other pool/patio furniture we have this one is HEAVY and feels really solid. So that being said you should probably have two people to assemble it. You CAN get it (mostly) assembled by yourself-I did- but trying to hold heavy steel pieces in place and get the bolts through is tricky. And getting the chair hung on the cross pieces DEFINITELY takes two people. I don't see anyway to get it lifted up, hold it in place and try and clip the hook in without two people. And man, is this chair comfortable. I'm going to say the most comfortable one we have. Took off one star for the following: 1. The canopy is really hard to get on by yourself. You get one corner slotted in and while you're trying to get on of the other ones in, the first one pops out. It gets REALLY windy where we live, so if we're not physically out by the pool using the chair, I'm taking it off so it doesn't get damaged/lost. Looking at the brackets, there's only a few strands of thread holding it to the canopy-I'll probably throw in a few more loops just to be safe. 2. When it was completely assembled all four feet aren't on the ground (one is about 1.5 inches up) so it's a LITTLE rickety. The legs fit into slots with pre tapped bolt holes so it can't be adjusted as far as I've been able to tell. BUT once you get in it, especially since the chair swings you can't really tell. Watch your feet though. I've stubbed toes on the legs a couple of times. The two downsides are pretty minor in the grand scheme of things- if I could only deduct 1/2 star I'd do that. Otherwise, totally recommend.

My title says it all! Look no further for any outdoor furniture needs, especially if you like hammocks and have no trees! I’m a single woman, so please know that this is quality metal or STEEL that this cantilever style swing is made of and it’s quite heavy when assembling it. I purchased two Keter Folding Table Workbenches on Amazon because it’s projects season galore for me! They really came in handy as I put this swing together alone. It’s really easy to assemble but again it’s kind of heavy because it’s thick and great quality steel! Best Choice Products (BCP) has a plethora of colors for you to choose from! I chose gray over black or white for dust showing reasons. Also, my house is gray and of course they did not include touch-up paint in the box and I have plenty of gray paint! BCP….INCLUDE TOUCH-UP PAINT WITH YOUR PRODUCTS…..but you all still get five-stars! I’m 5’5.5” inches tall and the top of the swing handle towers over me. The dimensions say it’s 78 inches high. It’s super comfortable and has a max weight of 265 pounds. You have to just trust that you’re not going to hit the ground due to it collapsing unless you exceed the max weight limit! This swing is truly SOLID! I ordered a twin size vinyl sheet from Amazon so that I can just cover up the chaise and take a quick Power Nap during outside work projects. I can’t speak on foldability because there’s no reason to ever fold it! I believe wherever you put it you’ll leave it because it’s sturdily heavy! I assembled it on my covered patio and I’m loving it! I love working in my beautiful yard or just tinkering or grinding on projects. This is definitely worth the price and it’s some of the best money I’ve spent on Amazon! I spend lots of it here! Buy this chaise swing chair! You won’t regret it! Warning: if you have a large family then buy MULTIPLES of these swings! You all will be fighting over who lounges in it guaranteed if you don’t! Now….bye!
