Will this fit 2 queen sized blow up mattresses 18 inches high?

Yes, this bell tent has 10 to 20 ft dia. and hight is from 6.7ft to 10ft for choice. it is enough for the 2ft queen size blow up mattress

On the 4m tent, what is the height opening? I know you said the inside height is 8+ft.

i just purchased this tent and recently set it up, the opening is a little tight at approx. 4 ft.

How do you 'water-proof' a canvas "Breathable" tent/ I want to use my ten in the winter, but I want to make sure it is fully water-proof....

Cotton, as stated previously is a great water resistant barrier. That is until you touch the inside, then you’re soaked. Waterproof sprays work, but aerosols are environmentally unfriendly. The traditional way of waterproofing cotton canvas is waxing, a 50/50 paraffin and beeswax mix melted and painted on with a paintbrush, let dry in the sun, touch up as needed. This is how sailors used to keep clothing dry, although for many years oils were mixed in also (no need for them now).

Is this treated with fire retardant chemicals?

The gray meterial of stove jacks are made of fire retardant fiberglass. But the fabirc of main tent body is not fire retardant.
