## Description

Starbond Accelerator Super Glue Accelerator, also known as CA glue "activator," is used to significantly speed up the drying time of cyanoacrylate super glues. The CA glue accelerant is a solvent based product that can be applied before and/or after CA glue application. Super Glue Accelerator is commonly paired with thicker viscosity CA glues and black CA glue, as these adhesives take longer to dry. In addition, it is useful when priming uneven surfaces or material combinations that are harder to bond, and in colder, drier environments where curing time may be delayed. Comes in pump sprayer and aerosol form. Used to cure the CA that flows from joints that are being pressed together, greatly enhancing the joints strength When using higher volumes of CA during gap filling applications, bonding time may take much longer, so Accelerator is highly recommended. :warning:This product can expose you to chemicals including N,N-Dimethyl-p-toluidine, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will be overspray from this Excelerator melt a lacquer finish?**
A: Thank you for your question! Based accelerators are solvent-based, it is certainly possible for overspray of the accelerator to melt a lacquer finish, especially if the solvent is unable to evaporate quickly enough. Therefore, we highly suggest spot-testing before applying the accelerator, if possible.

**Q: can this work with other brands of superglue, like the tube kind found in hardware stores?**
A: Yes it works well with other brands of ca.

**Q: Does this work with gorilla glue?**
A: ONLY With the CA Gorilla Glue Line... NO other Gorilla glue line. Unlilke the other people here they don't realize there is a CA GG that is made, and yes it will be fine. I know cause I have used this on it and it works perfectly. It also works with Locktite CA Glue and Other even CHEAP CA glues like from the dollar store, 99c for a pack of 4-8...works perfectly with them.

**Q: Should the can be stored in the refrigerator?**
A: Storage conditions are cited on the label. Refrigeration at the recommend temperature is one option. I have stored mine at room temperature in an non-AC workshop in Texas for a year and the glue is still useable.
