WIsh I had known about this sooner. - I recently had a second breast lift, and my doctor recommended using this product for to help prevent scarring. It also says this can be used on old scars. My current surgery scars are healing beautifully. Better than the first time. It's only been 6 weeks since I've used them and the scars are so thin. I really believe once they fully heal, the scar will be almost unnoticeable. I also started to use it on a 4-yr old extended tummy tuck scar and I can really see a lot of improvement. The scar is lightening up and in some areas has almost faded to white. I am so impressed. I like the rolls of tape because I can cut them to the length desired and not be stuck with a lot of small pieces. I cut the 1.6" tape down the center and get double the amount of tape, besides my scars are thin. For the adhesive, they stick very well. I'll be honest, I don't leave them on for just a few hours. I leave them on until my next shower. The box says they can be washed and reused, but I don't feel they stick as well after one wash. I have accidently showered with these on and they stayed on. I have been amazed with how well these silicone scar sheers have worked. My sister said she tried a similar product that she bought from the big box store and didn't care for them because they didn't really stick. I believe it's because of the brand she purchased.
