I have to wash and scrub all my woodwork each year. I want the paint to last and many areas of my home are shaded and I get mildew every year. I use TSP and bleach as a cleaner but that’s a different topic. I’ve used a lot of brushes for cleaning. This one is by far the best! I attach it to a standard extension pole and it has that perfect combination of excellent scrubbing without scratching the surface. The scrubbing and cleaning that used to take a weekend is now done in <6 hours because of this brush. Gets into nooks and corners, is wide enough to get flat areas in a few strokes and simply makes my life easier. Excellent quality! It’s held up to heavy use and chemicals. Stiff enough to clean would and versatile enough that I scrub my windows as well. Would have no reservations using this in a car or boat.

I reviewed a round head brush and gave it a 4 rating because, although good for cleaning vinyl siding, it didn’t clean the 1/2” section under each strip of vinyl. This is the brush that will do a better job cleaning the entire vinyl siding surface.

This is the second one of these brushes I've purchased - not because the first died, but because I wanted to have an extra and divide the types of cleaning between them. This is hands-down the best "soft" scrubbing brush I've ever used of this kind. The bristles are soft, but the ends are split in such a way that they actually do a lot of cleaning work at the surface. I've used this to clean my car, boat, wood siding, lawn furniture, and even the family bicycles. I wouldn't use it for a ground-in soiled surface like a wood deck, but anywhere you need a gentler touch than a hard bristle broom type scrubber, this is the ticket. It also seems very well made - I haven't lost a single bristle on one of them yet, and they hold their shape pretty well. It's also all plastic so nothing to rot or get mildewy - just rinse and dry it out well before putting it away.

Car washing is easy with this brush. It’s bristles are soft enough so that it doesn’t scratch clear coat and moderately stiff enough to scrub most dirt off, but it won’t scrape off bug guts, bird droppings or hardened tree sap very well. For things that were hammered at speed you’ll need to go over them several times or pre scrape before using this brush otherwise you’ll still leave some residue. It’s a good brush with an angled design so that you can still use the brush even when the handle is perpendicular with the roof/hood. So as long as pre clean the hard stuff and then finish off with this brush you will end up with the results you’ve been looking for. And again, it won’t scratch your clear coat so for that I give it 4 stars.

Don’t have to use the lock

So I purchased two of these the other day for use at my work. I'm a firefighter and we needed new brushes to help keep our equipment looking it's best. I was a little nervous at first as to the quality given the price point but once received I was pleasantly surprised. They are big: 10" wide and have a huge brush face for contact with wither your cleaning, Sturdy backing: The heavy duty backing which holds these together is very strong and should hold up over time. Soft brush: The brush head is soft so no scratches on your paint of clear coat. Standard size threaded slot for a handle makes this brush fit just about any handle you may want. Overall: Great product, great price and great quality.

The soft bi-level wash brush was perfect to wash mildew off our painted stucco exterior walls with a mixture of bleach & water. It fit easily on a threaded broom handle. It was soft enough that it did not damage the paint but sturdy enough to clean off the mildew on the rough surface. There were some small blue fibers left on the wall in the initial area that I cleaned, but they easily washed off with a rinse from the hose. It was $10 well spent.

Nice brush for cleaning the hot tub cover. Would be good for vinyl siding as well. Seems well made.
