This anti-acid is excellent. It’s very smooth, and goes down easy. The lemon taste isn’t the best, however, I still give it 5 stars because it’s an excellent working anti-acid. My 91 year old Dad loves it too, and he tried them all. This is now his favorite, mine too.

These actually just arrived today and I've already had success using them. I have a chronic burning in my throat (what some call acid reflux), but I also have had problems with kidney stones from using calcium bicarbonate TUMS. I saw some of the reviews...especially one from someone who said they can't use calcium products and thought I'd give it a try. I bought the 3 pack since I know I use them at least 5 or 6 times during a day/night. I have taken them 3 times now since picking them up at the post office around 10:00 am and it's 8:45 pm right now. They work quickly, taste decent, and I also hear that magnesium helps with nighttime leg cramps that I get periodically. The Hyland's Leg Cramps work well for that, but I'm thinking that if I can kill two birds with one stone with these antacids, that it's worth taking one less "pill", even if they are homeopathic. I plan on buying them again so that I have them on hand at all times...some at my home, some at my in-laws' home where I take care of my FIL, and some in my car for when I'm traveling.

I've been using Mintox for years now, ever since Maalox became unavailable. Mintox, in lemon, tastes OK, gets the job done and is reasonably priced compared to other brands. I always buy 6 bottles at a time I like it that much. The Mint flavor, in any brand, I just don't care for. I'd give the flavor 5 stars if they used Sucralose in place of the artificial sweetener currently in the product.

I like these antacid tablets a lot more than the Tums or similar type antacids. These are more effective for my wife and I. Can't find locally so Amazon to the rescue.

Pepcid, Zantac, Pepto, Tums don't work for me on the occasions that I get heart burn. This stuff knocks it out quickly and the taste is pretty good.

This brand of generic Maalox works very well, but the taste (lemon creme) is truly horrible; it's as if your mouth was hit with lemon scented furniture spray! Rinsing your mouth afterwards, with warm salt water, helps kill the after taste. Price of the item is considerably higher, too. However, the service was prompt and item arrived in good condition!
