Can this product be used at night

Yes this should be used in night only as it makes skin photo sensitive it's more effective when used as a PM skincare product

Mine is light yellow in colour with a slight pungent smell. Is it ok to use?

Sonwas mine. It's pungent because they CeraVe doesn't add any fragrance to their products. That's why many recommend them.
