It's a whiteside...
Not much else to say. Whiteside bits are about as good as you can get and this bit is no exception. I use this for routing mortises. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Excellent router bit
High quality bit as is typical from Whiteside.

Good bit. Highly recommend.
I purchased this to combine with my woodpeckers exact width dado jig. I have using the combo to dado out closet packs in MDF on new construction. Works great, cuts smooth, and gets the pieces up to my dust collector ring. Just bought another one as a backup.

Finest made.
As I need new router bits, I will convert every one to the Whiteside brand. This, like every one I've tried from the brand, is sharp and durable and designed very intelligently. It leaves a clean cut with little chance of splintering. In contrast, a simple straight bit of the same diameter causes the wood to blow out on exit, so every cut has to use a backer block. A backing block is not always easy to put in place. Highly recommended.

Cuts like butter! My favorite bit!
I couldn’t believe how much better this cut than a regular straight bit. I now have two of these in different sizes, which was a splurge for me, but the first time I used one, I was amazed how it cut like butter, no tear out, very smooth cutting. I love these bits!

The Best
Love Whiteside bits. Better than any other ones I used. Made in USA as well.

Excellent quality
I really appreciate the quality in these bits. Routed over 90 mortises with this and it was still going strong. Highly recommend.

Very very sharp - beware!
I agree with all the reviews, this is a superior cutter.A word of warning: Use gloves whenever handling this. Even when mounted on a router or machine. Or when removing one from a machine.Even a light brush up against any of these blade will scratch and cut you. I was used to standard router bits, and was never cut by a straight bit. After using one of these for an hour or so, I noticed some scratches and blood marks. The spiral means it's sharp all around! BE CAREFUL.
